Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

The Stinger is a four-wheel drive based on rear-wheel drive, where the torque goes to the rear axle first and then forwards.
Or, when there is a difference in rotation between the front and rear, the torque is transmitted forward.
At this time, I tuned it to send it forward faster.
I tried to make it feel a little bit like a mechanical transfer.

In this way, the eLSD of the Veloster N and i30N can also be tuned.
Ah very nice :)

Would be nice to see some videos on the difference in speed with the AWD tune compared to stock.

What exactly is the AWD tune?
AWD tune
Torque transmission time according to the speed difference between the front and rear wheels.
They send the tuned AWD ECU and you just need to exchange it - you can order one of the following settings: 0-stock, 1-little fast, 2-more fast,3-all time. It takes a few minutes to swap the AWD ECU units.

Nice!

Which mode did you select? And youre running this with jb4 correct?

Yes, I am running the JB4 and was told by Lozic that their TCU and AWD tunes will work fine. I selected them both with the following settings. I will be testing more after I receive the goods. BTW they told me that they have been using both TCU and AWD tunes on their car for more than a year - no problems.

Sounds like a fun time.

Very interested to see how it does for you, looking forward to seeing your results once posted.

Will do. It takes around 14 days for delivery but I am leaving for 10 days so should been able to test everything in late September and will post more info here.

I had worried making this video.
Even though I've heard it, it's hard to compare.
I shot it with a GoPro, and all the loud sounds sounded the same.
In the case of pattern A, the popcorn sound is small and then gradually increases.
In the case of pattern B, the popcorn sound is constant and loud.

made extra. Made the popcorn pop when downshifting

There was a distortion of information because the person who filmed and made it was different.
Only the Lozic ECU is a tuned stinger with a 1.5 bar setting.
Gage points to 1.6, so his younger brother who made the video wanted 1.6 and wrote it down.

ECO 0.3bar
Comport 0.7bar
Sport 1.5bar

However, ECO and Comfort are slightly different depending on the load and situation.
Since it is not a direct boost control, there are some fluctuations.

I made this with the intention of improving my understanding of the options of Lozic ECU.

Thank you all always
Would you recommend highflow primaries if running pops, or cat delete and if so would the tune get rid of the check engine light?

For anyone with an ECU tune and JB4 just for logging, do you or do you need to use the fuel wires?

I have my fuel wire still connected, but there is a bit that you can check to turn fuel wires off. Make sure you check bit6 on too. You'll see the bit for fuel wires.
Thanks. I think this is what you are talking about? I had this saved on my phone.

Yup bit0 check that and bit6. run logs and give them to terry@bms. if you needed fueling adjustments then you would uncheck bit0 and do settings according to terry for a map6 custom tuning. I couldn't remember if it was bit0 or bit1 and I'm not by my jb4

Depends what you want. The JB4 is less money, can instantly switch maps and has a great reputation and support. If you have the money, the Lozic ECU and TCU tune are a different beast. When the torque limits in our cars are removed, it's just so different. Also, no wires and connections to deal with. Just plug and play.
What mods do you have. Trying to decide on what tuning route I should take. I have a 3.3 g80.

Is anyone using 'power by mode', and if so what benefit do you feel it has? I can't decide between turning it off and the 'B' pattern (0.7 bar in eco). I'm guessing that it operates based on the transmission setting, so would I be able to manually choose between three boost levels in custom mode?

Yea I asked Lozic about that actually. With sport+ he thinks it might go back to stock behavior.

Rest is driven by powertrain setting in the custom settings.

I'm doing power by mode, pattern B so I dont feel completely crippled if I want to take it easier since my g70 is my daily driver.

I'm doing power-by-mode and I absolutely love it. Eco and Comfort mode are actually very refined! I feel no fluctuations at all (with boost-ready feature OFF).

In my opinion Comfort feels a little slower than stock. It might need an extra 0.2bar. It feels about as fast as the 2.0t. If anyone wants, I can swap the stock ECU back in and measure the difference with draggy. Eco mode feels awesome, though - like an N/A 1.8L I4

I'd say this is actually the defining selling point of an ECU tune. In Eco, the car is slow. Fast enough to merge on the highway, but don't try passing in opposing traffic. But if you find you need more power, just change drive modes. The car immediately wakes up. Even mid-pull.

In custom mode the car takes on the transmission setting. So I have Custom set up like comfort but with the transmission in Sport. So it's like a full-power comfort mode.

Keep eco mode. It's fun in its own right! If you need more power, just flip it back to comfort. Immediate restoration to more power.

Stock car with TCU only

For those of you who may be interested in just the TCU with an otherwise stock car.. (no JB4/ECU etc..) I installed the TCU pressure 2, all else stock. Went out and did some driving and a few Dragy runs. I only had 20 minutes but here are my initial impressions. The Stock car is making good power and the TCU is holding back the show. Launches are much different from stock and the car gets out of the hole pretty quick. 0-60 in 4.3 on the first try. I'm positive this would be 4 flat with the right launch. The car feels more powerful everywhere. Shifting is more muted with the Stock ECU vs the Lozic ECU but still really good.

Once I drive it more, I'll add to this post.

I can second this. I’m running intakes/secondaries/catback and Tcu tune. Don’t have dragy data but the launch I recorded a few weeks ago I timed to be around 4.4-4.5 0-60. I also feel I can do better by perfecting the launch rpm/timing and waiting for some cooler weather.
