"No way!" (that's the polite version that I shouted, i.e., unprintable words are what I really said in frustration and amazement). Yesterday evening around six o'clock, I was waiting for the light, pointed eastbound on 9000 South, at Redwood Road: I even had my camera out and ready: the light turned yellow and I put the camera down and got ready to hit it: I was in the righthand lane, which merges immediately on the other side of the intersection: this is a favorite tactic to get in front of a ton of waiting traffic at this intersection. Well, as I sped ahead (Stinger does this sleeping) a flash of ORANGE out of the corner of my right eye made my head swivel and the doubletake nearly took my head off: there, in the northbound right lane of Redwood Road was a Federation Orange Stinger. The irony even this morning is rather raw. Almost, I disbelieved my own eyes, the "encounter" was so fleeting: but I clearly saw the tiger teeth in the lower grille and the dash of horizontal red in the rear where the side reflector is. My first and only Fed Orange sighting, and I had had a camera in my hand only seconds before!?
