This is my 3rd problem already and I haven't even made it to my first oil change yet. Lol. The passenger
side mirror was unresponsive so that had to be replaced, now the door panel, and I'm also having my front bumper removed, realigned and repainted by a body shop because it fits so badly that it makes the hood not line up correctly and it's rubbing against the headlights on both sides causing the paint to scrape off.
The chipping at the forward, lower corner of the headlight assembly (especially, for some reason, on the driver's side) is a known issue going back to the beginning. I think that it's a design weakness in having a flexible, heavy assembly well advanced beyond the metal fender where it is mounted: but even so, most Stingers don't get this problem. That fitment along the top, inner edge of the assembly is a new one. I've never seen/heard of that before.
I'll second that! Again the problems just keep adding up... aside from my brake shudder at just over 2000 miles, I feel pretty lucky so far, compared to you other guys problems, I can feel your pain, however if Kia is fixing all of it I guess it's gonna be OK! Until the next thing rears it's ugly head.
