Kia Stinger GT vs Audi RS5

You're thinking about the 7th gen Corvette. C7 is Audi's designation for the A6/A7, made between 2011-2018. It's the generation of the RS7 shown in the video.

As far as sleeperness, a M550 is more of a sleeper than a Stinger. It really doesn't look aggressive at all.

This does not look like a car that gets to 60 in 3.5 seconds.

The S6 is even less aggressive. What average person looks at car and thinks "that car does 0-60 in under 4 seconds and has 450 hp."

Ah my bad! Learning something new everyday! :D

Thank you! Looking at those pictures you're definitely right! Very sleeper look for both cars...:thumbup:

I’m sure nobody would put fiberglass doors and lexan windows on a daily driver but with that a carbon/fiberglass hood and rear hatch, lightweight driver seat, gutted interior and lightweight rims/ rotors I guarantee with all that and a good tune mid to low 10s would definitely happen.. don’t forget an 11.16 was done using a piggyback tune with stock injectors and most likely completely stock fuel system all together.... stingers still have a lot left in them even without turbo upgrades but bigger turbs would be amazing
Yea I don't know if we'll see a gutted Stinger at the track any time soon. Perhaps a few years down the line when the miles start accumulating and prices drop.

The car in the video is full bolt-on, including meth and 100 octane, running JB4's map 7 btw, for anyone who are wondering.

I just don't see the point in gutting a Stinger... there are so many cars out there that are better to gut... even when prices drop... the Stinger is a comfortable daily driver and commuter car with solid GT-elements and some serious kick to it...

Like even on my old riced out E36 I still had the backseats and air-conditioning. I wanted it to be nice and comfortable, even if it had become just a weekend toy car at that point. :)

People just want to squeeze out every bit of performance out of everything. A few years ago I saw a youtube video of a dude with a fully gutted Tesla Model S P100. I mean this dude took EVERYTHING out of the car except the center screen. The two front seats were replaced with custom racing seats. Car was on a set of drag radials and demolished everything in sight!

I know who you're talking about. It was that young 19 year old southern boy and it was his dad's car. To each their own. I guess when money isn't a factor people do crazy stuff. Their money so why not?

Haha but yeah, those videos were insane! That Tesla was humiliating people left and right!

Funny enough I worked for Tesla for a year (right as the merge happened with Solar City) and I remember there was a press car from "Electric GT" that wanted to pick up a S-P100D from us and cut the weight down. Was really cool talking to the guys. Fun stuff... I remember seeing one of the cars in service that had the rear seats removed and both the trunk and frunk (front trunk) also gutted... but they kept the two front seats and everything else functional... I don't think it did too much for performance since they were running all-season tires... :p

Friend of mine just completed a stage2 RS6.... WAGON... if it wasn't for the exhaust it would be a serious sleeper... exhaust gives it away in a heartbeat lol... sounds evil (edited to add pic)

He's on the Audi forum. I remember seeing his pics when I was scrolling through the C8 picture thread the other day. Very nice.

Ya, He has put a lot of work into his all his Audi's (current and past) as well as his other rides. Probably the definition of "bitten by the tuning bug" lol
