That’s frustrating I really want the 2.5t engine in a sedan with the blind view cameras. Sonata K5 and now it seems stinger don’t have it. Kia always removes all the best features from the Korea market version for USAThis is confirmed on the top trim for 2022 Stinger
I get what you're saying. Unfortunately it's because it has to meet a certain price bracket. That bind view feature is an added cost especially since the cars already have blind view monitoring, lane keep assist, safe exit warning, etc. That’s frustrating I really want the 2.5t engine in a sedan with the blind view cameras. Figured you'd say that.......all good......
Believe it or not, this is one of the main reasons the "Supra" folks are even considering the 2.0 over the 3.0....it is the better "mod" car....yes, you don't get the true "weight" savings in the 2.5 Stinger that you do in the 2.0 Supra, but, we "are" talking about a car with two less doors/seats......with a little cash thrown at a 2.5 Stinger, the added performance will make the lack of extra pounds noticable vs throwing that "same" amount of cash at the 3.3...see below: best argument on the web for the 2.0 Supra....guy knows what he is talking about....some of the same "principles" he refers to, would apply to the 2.5 Stinger....but a WRX owner would know that.....
This one?I want to see the full with tail lamp illuminated at night that’s the money shot for me
Thank you very much!! Were you able to find out if the rear turn signal indicators are amber LED and if the reverse lights are LED?This one?
Oh I agree with you completely!Figured you'd say that.......all good......

I'm not sure how to tell if they are LED or not. Aside from taking out the carpet and checking the bulbs.Thank you very much!! Were you able to find out if the rear turn signal indicators are amber LED and if the reverse lights are LED?
That’s OK no worries you’ve been very helpful with The pictures you have provided to date Giving us some insight as to what the US market 2022 Kia stinger is gonna look likeI'm not sure how to tell if they are LED or not. Aside from taking out the carpet and checking the bulbs.
Now i get the avatar name.........
Again, got in your "own" way......didn't read quote.....It's also only a couple hundred pound weight savings 2.5 v 3.3, that's a smaller percentage of the vehicle's total weight than with the Supra. It might be noticeable with the Supra, but much less noticeable with the Stinger
told you, all good.........Oh I agree with you completely!![]()
I think I missed the point of your post. Thanks for the snark, personal attack, and clarification. The sooner you get the Supra the better for this forum.told you, all good.........
at least you bothered reading....Mr. "stoopid" quoted me but didn't bother reading......![]()
Now, now.......no harm.....just made the point that you were negating my points when I said exactly what you did......I think I missed the point of your post.
Ok....For the "random" member or even "new" member for that matter....the idea of making the 2.0/2.5 reach 3.3 performance levels has been chewed to death on this forum and "throwing same amount of cash" around simply meant that if I had just $1000 to spend, I would get more improvements over stock out of the 2.5 than I would out of the 3.3....simple example: plug replacement.... 4 HKS plugs are considerably cheaper than 6 HKS plugs ($120 vs. $180) I could apply the extra $60 towards upgrading suspension/brakes, etc.....no, can't upgrade those parts for $60 (unless you buy parts from a salvaged Stinger....)but you get my point....Fwiw, while you clawed back at my post, I still don't think you've explained the "throwing the same cash" statement [which I'm assuming you meant the extra sticker price] or convinced me that you're going to reach the stock 3.3TT's performance with a lightly modded and tuned 2.5T . I only post this to benefit the random member reading this thread, not that I'm interested in reading your pointed responses any further/engaging you.
thought I was clear????lmfao my goodness the drama!
This is why I prefer to talk in person or over a phone instead of texting and typing... things can be totally confusing at times...![]()
