No, haven't had that problem (yet).
On the other hand, the high fuel consumption problem, I'll call it HFCP from now on, causes the engine to run rough (jerky) at any constant speed. Specially noticable with cruise control at e.g. 50 or 70.
In my case, the HFCP isn't even there after a cold start, it takes some driving before it starts.
I was able to drive 19 km with normal fuel usage by driving extremely gentle. But once the HFCP begins, it won't go away as long as the engine is running, not even after 250 km of driving.
Turning off the engine for at least 5 minutes temporarily resets the HFCP and I can drive again 1 or 2 km before the HFCP starts again. (The longer you turn off the engine, the longer it takes for the HFCP to return)
