I've been searching and have found a lot of info but can't find the answer I'm looking for so.....

Has anyone tried this set-up and if yes, any issues ? ( stock height )

F: 19x8.5 +30 245/40/19
R: 19x9.5 +42 275/35/19

Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure the rears won’t fit. Check the fitment thread. I think it’s tittled “offset can be confusing”

Related question (sorry if it's been covered before): Does changing the diameter of the tire/wheel combo affect the speedometer reading...or is there some new tech way the vehicle senses speed/mileage?

Speedo will be off by the percentage difference in circumference between stock/new tires.

For example:
stock 255/35/r19 = 81.7" circumference
my 285/30/r20 = 83.9" circumference

this is a 2.7% difference, so when my speedo says 70mph, I'm really going 71.9mph.

Dealer may be able to reprogram but I'm not aware of any other way to fix it.

Just discovered this wheel gallery site. Lots of Stinger specific photos available, you can even filter a single car color, brand of wheel or finish.

This post made my day

This setup should work just fine. I'm running the same size tires and slightly different wheel specs.

@Billy M, long overdue but here are some more pics...

Worth noting that the standard size tire for 20x10.5 is 285r30 which is a little less than an inch taller than stock, so you have some wiggle room there if you want to try a smaller overall diameter with a 275
Any issues with handling with the 20" wheels? What tire size are you running on the front?

Thanks for the response. ( Sorry for the late reply on my part ).
Looks awesome !
The rears don't rub ??
I'm assuming your car is lowered ~1" ?

Again, awesome ! Changes the whole attitude of the Stinger ( IMO ).

Have taken a chance and..... they fit ! ( EASILY ).

The tyre size softens the front ( steering not as sharp but will just dial in a bit more negative camber to fix ) but with ultra light wheels on crappy Sydney roads, its a good combination.

It also means that what the speedo reads is actually what I'm doing ( no more buffer ) but I'm OK with that.

No tyre to guard contact at all.

Where did you get those paint guards for behind the wheels?

AusStinger - what wheels are those?
G.MAX "Solas" Flow Forged Alloys.

I knew they would be lighter than the factory 19" wheels the car came with but they're actually "a lot" lighter. I'm very happy with them so far.

What are the offsets and specs on the wheels?

How do you like those tires? My only experience is with the RS-RR on the track and they are incredibly sticky. The ST-1 is what I'm planning on running for summers. They good in the rain?

They’re no pilot sports. But daily and wet traction is great. The car will burn out rather than launch hard now, even with launch control. So pluses and minuses. I’ve the RS-RRs on my track car as well, but haven’t gotten to run them yet, thanks to covid and kids.
I’ll probably run Toyo Proxes sport for my next set, but for the cost these are punching above their weight.

I see you are running Kumho Escta PS71 245/40/19 on the front, what are you running on the rear & what is your assessment of the tyres.

Running PS71 all around (275/35/19 on the rear) and they're pretty good overall for a street tyre. Have not had the opportunity to push them to the limits yet so.....

Decent price and a Korean tyre on a Korean car should balance the yin and yang :)

If I could have justified it I would have fitted Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 all around since they're my favourite tyre for street use but way too expensive.
