Burger Tuning JB4 - 2.0T!

I won't lie to you im no expert on installing chips either. I've seen a 2.0 stinger with JB4, full exhaust, intake, air filter, and a few other things I can't remember, running an e-85 mix get close to 420 hp shooting flames. My plan is to swap spark plugs and add the jb4 before doing anything else to it. Do you notice any difference with the air filter? If you could take pics or video tomorrow, I would really appreciate it brotha!!

Actually ya! I just got done putting the spark plugs in they recommended, glad I did that. Then gapped them to .028 HKS ones. The old factory ones where nasty? Not what I was expecting with onky 15k on it. Anyway just took er for a spin the intake sounds like a lil blow off valve. Sounds awesome! And runs way better couldn't believe it from the plugs

I have heard great things with the plugs. If you just change plugs and go to eco mode, you can save even more gas highway. Why did you space them to .028? I only ask because Terry from Burger said to space them .024 for the jb4

Thats what they came pre gapped at. Also the stinger 8 place in cali recommend that as well who I got em from, Also on the forums any where from 24 to 28 . Is where you wanna be from what I've read. But ya helped alot?

HKS Gap: 0.22 - 0.24. go higher and the spark is not going to do you any good above MAP 1. after reading the last handful of "exchanges", you guys may want to take a couple of steps back before doing the install...... The bms website has links to the install and other "useful" info such as plug gap, etc....

Connecting the JB4 is the easy part....setting things up to work with it is the important part....

Just doing what I was told from the owner of that company. Do u have a 2.0T

Well, as you can see, we are trying to figure it out with the little info out on 2.0s. Maybe you could help with photos where the connections are? I've been through the whole BMS website, youtube, forums, and can't find much of anything for the 2.0 2020 stinger. Is yours a 2.0?

Thats what I was just getting at LoL? If it was 3.3 I would of been done. Making sure I do it and do it rite. Got the tuner last night...just doting my ID and crossing my Ts. Before install...

I don’t daily drive on map2, but have used it many times without any issues.

Post a log on the n54 website and Terry will take a look and let you know if he sees anything funny.
Do u have pics of where the plug and play goes on the JB4 4 tuner. Got mine last night for the 2.0T also what gapp would you do on the HKS plugs?

BTW....not trying to "put out your fire" but i also have the 2.0T, JB4, HKS; plugs (0.22 gap), K&N panel filter, and run MAPs 2 - 3 and even try MAP 6 from time to time but i have gained a lot of info (some trial and error) and support from Terry at BMS about the do's and don't's . this is the best way to get the most out of the product as well as the car without putting the car (and your wallet) in harms way unless, you are pretty good at tuning cars.....the product is TOP NOTCH and it has my 2.0T performing out of this world!.

before getting things "just right"... i had a CEL that turned out to be a pin in one of the connectors not being seated and a misfire of the plug in cyclinder #3 (got kind of scary because i had to "limp" the car home over a distance of about 7 miles......luckily, no damage and i had a spare set of plugs at home so i changed them all instead of the one misfire....as i said earlier, install links(with pics) can be found on the BMS website as well as here in the forum....you may find things quicker by doing a "Google" search vs. searching this forum directly......again..... as tempting as it is to just hook things up and go driving, do the homework first......

On 2.0T, connector at the end of the long JB4 wire(color wires), connects just in front of the intercooler pipe and if you are facing the engine bay and look straight down past the intercooler, you will see that connector and the other one(brown wire) , attached to the "shorter" jb4 wire, will connect to the sensor the is attached to the intake (near the firewall). just route the unit and wire harness to the passenger side of the engine and place the jb4 unit on top of the fuse box (cover with the big red "plus" sign). read instructions for prepping car computer BEFORE attaching connectors. Good luck.

Thats all I've done is homework since the purchase a week ago. Spoke with many people who own company's that sell stinger only parts. BMS is one of them, and emails from them. Just want pics of where everything goes so its "done and done rite" the first time. Me gapping my plugs to .028 was recommended by KDM and K8stinger. I appreciate your input. As I'm new with stinger cars, not cars or tuning in general. Im use to dealing with purple drank directly live tuning so this is just new to me is all. Again thanks for the info. I will hit up BMS again and what they recommend gap size, Is what I will do...Other then that love the car. Wish it was live tuning or 3.3 stinger would of been done!!!

Connector with the rainbow colored wires will attach to the TMAP sensor(Boost Sensor) , while the one
with the brown wires will attach to the MAP on the back of the intake manifold
