Mentioned it in another thread and did some searching, couldn't find much info. I have my alignment booked for Monday, hoping this will fix it.

Went out for an hour drive today, it starts at around 65km/h and goes away over 80. Once its starts vibrating it seems to happen at a different variety of speeds, and goes away only to come back again randomly. The alignment is definitely out, but it feels like an out of balance wheel almost. I feel it through the gas pedal/ seat more than anything, not the steering wheel.

I only notice it cruising at speed, coasting, and lightly applying the throttle.

Anyone experience something like this after lowering?

You didn't get an alignment after lowering the car and you're wondering why the car vibrates? LOLOLOLOL

Man they disconnect like the entire suspension to swap out the springs, your values are probably WAYYY of. I wouldn't even drive the car like that....

I have had this issue for a while. Mine is also AWD. I wonder if it's something with the axle races having a slightly different angle, and being out of the "wear pattern"

Mine is about the same speed, almost a harmonic vibration.

Did you get yours aligned?

Yes, after a few weeks. Once with the OE tire/wheel combo and another time when I swapped tire/wheel combo.
So you still have it after being aligned? Damn, it feel exactly as you describe. Both my inner cv joints pulled out when I installed and I was hoping it wasn't cv related. Are our CV axles designed like a generic one, where the bearings on the inner can fall out if the joint comes apart? Wondering if that's what it is.

I do have it. I guess I could pull the 4WD fuse, confirm it's not something in the transfer box. I know most everything rotates, but I seem to feel it most when I accelerate lightly at highway speeds. If I can remove a variable easily I will.

When you say highway speeds are you talking 60 MPH or 60 KMH?

It's actually pretty common not to align the car right away after lowering so that the springs have a couple weeks to settle. If you align immediately the car will settle after driving a couple weeks and your camber/toe will probably need to be aligned again.

Sorry, I now see you are in the lands of Maple Syrup, not the lands of Grits and Butter.

60-70MPH is the most obvious, I'm not sure it's safe to go 60KPH on the highway here, but if I have the chance I will check and let you know

I don't get the vibration at highway speeds or higher, just that weird range around 70kmh or 43ish mph. Good to know I'm not alone, alignment is Monday so ill post back if it fixes it. What springs are you using?

The only thing I have changed on the suspension is the springs (Eibach). The next thing that could potentially effect the ride/vibration is Stance SF07's paired with Toyo Proxes Sports.

I guess I could throw the OE tires back on and verify. It's been a little while.

I'm going to talk to the shop that's doing the alignment Monday, I think its related to the inner cv joint and one of those bearings coming out. My springs had a really minor drop compared to Eibach, weird were both having a similar issue.

Did you install them yourself or have a shop do it?

I did f*ck on of my CV putting my coilover on the car. Pull the awd fuse, if it stop vibrating, your in for an axle with cv. I found a slightly used one to swap my damaged one for 395$. It got damaged when the shaft dropped and was reinserted. Good luck, its an expensive mistake I won't be making twice.

I have no vibrations after my ARK GT-Fs. I have RWD though.

Does yours vibrate constantly or just intermittingly? My axle never came out from the transmission housing, just the inner cv came out of its joint and I put it back in.

I had the exact same problem as you, just the cv came out. And the vibration was most noticable under load at lower speed. It all depend on the gravity of the damage. The front disable at higher speed under most conditions. That is why you dont feel it at higher speed. Just pull the fuse and test. Its a 5 minute test.

@narsnail do you have aftermarket wheels ? Spacers ?
if it is just oem set up, your alignment might just fix the issue.

I'll try that maybe tomorrow, wont be able to today. Just throwing it out there, have you attempted to disassemble your inner cv joint?

It's OEM, just the alignment is very clearly out. Drives amazing most of the time, ill find out Monday/when I remove the fuse to go into RWD to see if that changes anything.

Did you dent your rims?
