Wheel/size/offset and tire/size/profile...can be confusing.

fitment industries claiming to run 9.5 square with no spacers

It probably depends on the design of the rim whether spacers are required or not.
While Fitment Industries speaks of 9.5” rims with 35mm offset fitting without spacers anywhere,
the one inch narrower OEM rear 8.5” X 19” rims with 46.5mm offset will not fit the front without spacers. I tried.

But spacers on the 8.5" rims allow me to keep the OEM look with wider and beefier tires.

With the spacers in place, I am now able to rotate the tires front/rear/cross wise and gained Michelin’s 70k km warranty,
while the staggered set-up only lasted 30,500 km – mirroring Michelin’s warranty exactly.

The pictures for my set-up:
OEM 8.5” x 19” rims, 46.5 mm offset, front & rear
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ 255 mm r40 19”
15mm hub-centric spacers front
5mm spacers rear

I call BS on 9.5+35 the front without spacers, there is maybe 1mm clearance with my 9+35

I would tend to agree, but look at this:

Aftermarket Wheels
9.5" Ark 270 rims with 255mm Michelins - why? Typo? Just to be square?
Those ARKs are +25 they would work fine. It is the +35 that is getting us so close. +30 would be perfect.

can +15 work on those ARKs ?
With a 9.5" rim it would be 2 cm Further out in the rear and 1.5 cm further out in the front. IMO, that's a lot of poke.

The appearance is subjective, some are looking for it. Tires would stick out past the fenders.

Any modification needed for the +15 ?
I am not an expert here so I would look for some more input from others. There shouldn't be any modifications needed for the wheels to bolt on...
But personally I'd have other questions:
-Are you planning on lowering the car at all? I don't know how much spring compression you get, but with the wheels/tires set out further you might need to roll the fenders. (could be an issue regardless of lowering)
-Rubbing, given that the corners of the wheels are that much further out you may have issues rubbing the inner fender liner. (Later I can go turn my front wheels lock to lock and see if there would be an obvious issue or not)
-You will increase the stresses on the hubs (wheel bearings) and change the suspension geometry slightly. My best guess is these are negligible. But an alignment my be in order.

I wonder if the following setup could work, or would there be scrubbing, especially in the front?

Kw lowering springs (pretty much same as Eibachs)
245/35/20 in the front with 8.5" wheel and ET32
285/30/20 in the back with 10.5" wheel and ET45

Anyone got experience running 245/35 / 285/30 on lowered cars?

Would this set work with stock 19 staggered size tires? 19 x 8.5 40mm front and rear

The recommended tire width for 8.5" inch rims is minimum 225mm and max. 255mm.
It would therefore appear that your stock tires (225/255mm) can be mounted on the rims you linked to.

However, you should be prepared for the eventuality of employing spacers to fit these rims on the front.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the ark 270 9.5 +25 offset square setup. I just love the way they look. They seem a bit more concave than the niche wheels at 9.5. I hope they go right on without any modifications needed. I will keep the thread posted.

Nevermind back to square one. The site ordered emailed me and said the +25 are completely sold out, maybe for good. That's really disappointing. I really want a square setup and my wheels to be a bit concave. I thought those ark 270 were perfect I wish I had known about them sooner. Anyone have any suggestions for 9.5 wheels I can fit up front without needing additional mods ? If something has an offset close to the +25 on the arks does that mean they will fit ?

19x9.5" +35 with 255/35 all the way around. Here is the post with my info and pics.

With those wheels you will need 5mm spacers up front. Unfortunately the hubcentric rings will not fit up front with the spacers installed. After a couple of months I had a custom spacer with integrated ring machined. This is the link to the design. Hubcentric rings fit fine on the rears.

i think Im just going to go with the misanos in 8.5 +33 up front and 9.5 +35 in the rear.... will this all fit without any mods ? can i just take them to a tire shop and say her throw my stock tires on these bad boys and call it a day ? I saw something about the tpms sensor in your post. do I need to purchase a different ?

It depends on the tire width but if you are going do do 245 or smaller on those 8.5 +33 wheels up front, then you will be fine.

As far as the TPMS Sensor go. Check to see what your tire place is comfortable with. You may not be able to have a standard TPMS sensor with valve stem in the rear hole.

ok thanks for the help. do I also need to order lug bolts? I don't think the wheels I ordered come with anything else.

Yes. Your stock lug nuts won't fit in the Misano wheels. You'll need a set of small diameter acorn nuts.
