So nervous with how loud it would be - I mean I like aggressive but not during my 5am morning coffee drive
Well you’re in luck haha it’s what I would consider fairly quiet but has a noticeable increase in tone once you get on the throttle a bit. Went through 3 exhaust setups including an evc exhaust before finding something I was happy with.

Those don't have an ID of 2.5", the OD is 2.5" They probably won't work. You need a ID of 2.5" for them to slip on with no issue.
Ah yeah, I was just doing a quick search and posted the link. Maybe I should remove that link as to not confuse people?

Their listing says that they would work for pipes that are OD 2.5" so seems like they would fit properly. At least amazon returns are super easy if they don't.

I had my Stinger serviced at my Kia dealership yesterday and when the technician drove it around front he asked about the exhaust. Apparently it sounds "f***ing fantastic".

Thank you for posting this. I am sick of waiting for the ones I ordered via ali express, so I picked some of these up and will most likely have them powder coated black! I didn't love the clamp of the black version I found on amazon.

I have MBRP + Ark downpipes and I find that right around 2k RPM it doesn't sound very good inside the cabin. I have those tips from amazon linked above, so that should be helping with that drone issues others have experienced. I also have some sound dampening material on the way for me to apply to hatch floor. Hoping that helps the noise.

Just FYI, I have sound dampening for the hatch, including the foil stuff and the closed cell foam. It changed NOTHING. Only the tips made a difference for me.

Oof, that's not a good sign for me. I have tips already and it doesn't sound great.

I read the whole thread and a couple of guys were saying stock downpipes made things better over aftermarket.......just a thought

Yeah, I want to try the sound deadening material first to see if that helps at all. If not, there is a pretty good chance I'll start thinking about going back to the stock downpipes.

Hate to tell you, but it's not going to help. I sound deadened my trunk and under the rear seats pretty thoroughly and drone at 2K RPM with the MBRP + SSR midpipes was unchanged.

The overall loudness was reduced, but that metallic rasp was just as bad as ever. Only thing that fixed it was going back to stock midpipes and now it sounds fantastic.

I have the same deadening setup you have posted plus the closed cell foam on top. I already mentioned it on another post but will confirm again, no change in exhaust sound. Road noise, maybe.
