Clear cut intake winner?

BMS FTW.

So if BMS is using K&N cone filters, how is it different than the K&N intakes (besides the obvious of using the existing intake box)? And why would you choose BMS over the K&Ns? And is the sound just the same?

confuscious once asked...
“If squirrel forages from different spot, does the succulent nut taste different in ones mouth?”

I don't know, you tell me. You sound like a man whose had his fair share of nuts in his mouth. Do all the flavoured nuts taste the same?

You make a good point; I’m interested in hearing a response.

Purchased BMS intake, waiting on color samples to arrive from VT before pulling the trigger. In combination, I think it'll be a homerun.

I'll keep you all posted.

Is there a clear cut leader if he pack when it comes to intakes for our beasts?

I like the idea of the JT but can’t seem to find a Canadian distributor and don’t want to spend well over a grand with shipping, taxes, and duties.

I’m leaning to the Injen and Velossa snorkels which I can source locally. My only hesitation there is the lack of heat shielding. And no I don’t want to make my own heat shields as they end up looking pretty fugly.

If there something else I’m overlooking? I see the new BMS intakes, but those filters look kind of small.

What does everyone think when it comes to intakes?
Did you end up going with th Injen and Velossa set up? I'm interested where you sourced them in Canada. I also like the JT but the $$$$ and distance is a problem. Picked up my Atomic(bomb) Blue GT Limited yesterday. Can't seem to get the smile off my face.....Wow what a car!!! Cheers and Thx.

Look at AEM and Agency power there both plastic ...... I made a install video and review of the Agency power ....
Have your filters ever popped off?

My AP’s have. Cleaned contacts points with isopropyl alcohol, shoved as far deep as possible. And somewhat tight. Too tight and they walk off. Too lose, then walk off. Lol

I check weekly. I’d say mine come off once a few months.

What, really. Not many complain about this. That's a shame. Have you complained to AP?

They treated me like a moron. They don’t give a shit about customers.

I do like the look of the AP.
Yeah peice of shit, great look wonderful

K&N Intake (for its easy-to-wrap-with-insulation box shaped heat shield) combined with Injen filters (larger, dry filters) :p

Lol.

had I known and had patience, I would have paid more for the Johnny Tig. Even there, there is fitment issues. But expected on a lower volume, hand built product.
As the old saying goes: (and I don't know if it applies to this product)
The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweet taste of low price is forgotten.

I'm also looking at the JT set up.

this shit is so frustrating, I end up checking mine about once a week and usually the driver side is off, never the passenger, im gonna try to see if putting some sort of adhesive wrap might help hold it on a bit more but then it probably will never come off.

Super frustrating and something Ive never expeirenced on any other car with aftermarket intakes Ive owned before
