Tork Backend Flash

Here in Kelowna it has been a mixed bag of weather for sure and it will be nice to run on that Area 27 with out limp mode striking again lol I should get my ECU back in a few days but darn it is the crazy ass weather which changes so very quickly and when the roads dry up here , I will try a 0 to 60 launch and see if my new Tune is a bit faster or slower:: best for me on to date with my RS chip was only 4.52 on dragy, I may if possible see if I can get on John s Dyno if I need more tuning:)
With your mods you should be in the 3s 0-60 after the tune. Being from Kelowna you should have driven down to Tork. He does custom dyno tune for the same $900 as a mail in flash. But with Pressertech tune he won't be able/ willing to change their tune.

Now that John has seen the light....maybe we make friends and I I try this? Given I've been 3.8 and 11.9s JB 4 map 3, no meth, wonder if I can match tim's times with this. Might tie me over until Motec Gets here.

I just want my car to be more predictable meaning ,, with no more surprises and when I hit the throttle coming out of a corner, and another Driver is right behind me ,(the car will no longer into limp mode as it did last summer at Area27 in Oliver BC !!! Just my thoughts behind the ECU flash !!

Pretty sure you can bank on that:).
VT Snorkles, K&N, JT FMIC and Charge pipes, LAp3 primary, Jun Secondary, Custom Varex back half, JB4 Map 3 and brake snip. I'm #7 on dragy leaderboards and fastest Canadian I believe.
what province are you in and was that using only pump gas ⛽️ and octane boost:) impressive to say the least :)

Toronto, Ont. Petro 94 only. I have run Map 5 daily for a long time, but can;t get Map 5 to hook with snip launch. Just roasts tires. If it could hook, I'd be 11.7s np
 
What if you use the boost by gear function and lower first gear boost by 2psi that way first gear would be the same as map3 but then 2-5th you have map 5 power?

In general map8 is slower on the launch than normal maps as it adjusts boost differently and it doesn’t come on hard until higher rpm. My buddies map5 runs much quicker 0-60s than his map8, but definitely doesn’t have the same top end pull as with the WMI.

I ran map 8 and map 5 an hour apart same day same track. They were .02 apart, map 8 on right. That was the day I realized if your modded and running an octane booster(boostane) wmi has little to no benefit.

I haven't even betten my own times with wmi yet. Seems to help a some. Just too much rain.

Interesting. Most logs & traps show noticeably better top end results using WMI.

What settings did you use for your map8? Boost additive, scaling & min flow boost?

I am still living in the dark bud :)

I have managed a best of 3.7 and 11.7 with my RWD car, massive wheel spin in the first two years and trapping 122 MPH :)... no methanol at 18-19 psi and I have not even tried the changes that Tonka is running.

I would love to see a JB4 or LAP3 box beat Tim's times, that would actually impress me.

WMI has huge benefits, you just have to get a proper tune to maximize those benefits :)
