Tork Backend Flash

I was told before by John to wait for the Stage 2 but I guess he never got the bugs all out as of yet , perhaps that stage 2 is now scraped :)(

Stage 2 is still in process. Hard to come out with the tune when we just keep improving from where we were previously.

If you go back to the stock race chip race mode you may be fine.
Tork stage 1 will be faster and trouble free.
I went from RC to Tork Stage 1.
And if you stay piggyback jb4 can log and lets you adjust yourself.

Any news about the stock fueling system upgrades? I remember you dissecting the fuel pump a while ago. I'd love to run a stage 2 tune without having to rely on meth injection...

I just got an a bit more aggressive map for Sport mode this will keep it safe and later get a normal Race mode Map back on .. Sport mode works great but with way less power ,, and I think the Tork Stage 1 would be faster than what I have trouble free as well , thinking as well to go down from 19 to 18 rim with 235 up front and 265 rear Michelins with a 10 to 13 lb rim weight reduction which should bring me out of corners a bit quicker on Track days ,just running on a Novice level only !!! When you went from the RC to Stage 1 were your exhaust running with only the Primary Cat s still on like I have now ??? Thanks Tim :)

RaceChip has no CANbus, FuelControl, or meaningful datalogging. Donate it to Toys for Tots where it belongs and get a JB4 so you can capture some legitimate tuning data to figure the car out before you blow a piston.

both tests were however done on a Dyno Com almost the same as Mustang Dyno,,which they told me runs 15 % lower than a Dyno Jet
Actually the opposite. Dynocom dynos typically run 10-15% higher than dynojets. While most Mustang dynos run 10-12% lower than dynojets.

I had just a catback and drop in k&ns when i switched from RC to tork stage 1. RC ran 11.7s, 1st day with tork tune low 11.7s then next outing 11.44 same mods.

I was told the opposite , and that the this Dyno read very close to a Mustang Dyno, what I do know that is factual , I have as much performance mods as possible and running off pump gas with boost
using 94 to 98 octane values , and I have no WMI or NOS added and the best 1/4 mile off Dragy was only 12.7 ! These cars come with 365 hp / 376 ftlbs stock on the crank and my last DynoCom run I still only got 356.5 AWD Hp and 502 ftlbs torque , so that being said , then I have the worst Stinger GT out there , numbers don’t lie , just want my DD on the occasional Track day ( circuit) track :) here are the exact mods for my 2018 Stinger GT ,1 : RC performance chip , CAI , FMIC , NGK 2 degree lower Race plug s Molly 5 w 40 and 2 catch cans exhaust JUn BL cat less down pipes with Borla type s cat back exhaust !!! What makes it hard to is my torque is over 500 ftlbs and whp only 350 hp , best dragy 0 to 60 time was only 4.52 seconds:) so it appears I have the slowest modded Stinger GT , OH well :(

It would be great if TOrk would run 1.5 tune running 19 psi for us DD s who just do the occasional Circuit Track day lol be nice to run at 385 whp and 475 to 500 ftlbs torque he he on pump gas ⛽️ 93 to 97 octane

Gee that would be perfect for the occasional Track day this summer, I would personally like a ECU above all but this might be a opposition having the secondary cats now off lol

Tork stage 1 would be a great mild DD and track day car. With your mods and only 18 psi prob around 430-435 hp and easily runs on 92 octane (US).

My car is GT2 AWD, 4100 lb big girl.
After adding intake, and fmic i was running 11.9s dragy. Later got stage 1.5 beta tunes, light wheels and secondary dp and dropped that to 11.58 and 3.65 last March. This winter with jb4 #stacklife 11.51 and 3.58.
Used jb4 to add a little boost at high rpm and now wmi controller. No new times yet with wmi.

This would work well I believe stage 1 tune then ,and lighter wheels as well later :) getting it up possibly over 400 whp which is more whp than my 350 whp at the moment, worth a shot at least then perhaps I will be able see later if anything else is needed :) my car , as it is like your s running around 4100 lbs stock with 19 in wheels , and with the lighter exhaust and lighter wheels it should be closer to 4k!, Thanks Tim for the heads up on this , as you have same type of car and so it help s out , Canadian gas here in British Columbia sucks , so I always run a bit of Octane boost to make sure I get at least a true 94 octane level And up here we are running around 365 meters above sea level:)

Just checking on line and what you have said seems to be the case indeed DynoCom showed higher Numbers than the Dyno Jet , means my Awd Stinger GT really has no power , perhaps a ECU tune is next and out with my piggy back:(

Yeah unfortunately the RC is not anywhere close or comparable to the JB4 or Lap3 piggybacks. You don’t need an ECU tune to get the gains I quoted and the 450whp most people are running with your mods and those piggybacks.

But if you don’t care about warranty issues and only want an ECU tune I suggest Kagantuned.Kia Stinger GT 3.3TT Stage 1 Tune Amazing gains and much better reputation & customer service than the one you said you’re considering.

Mine is Awd so I would think that there is big difference in whp and ftlbs torque, but still better perhaps than what I have now :)
