Tork Backend Flash

I just went to the TOrk site again and I see they do have have ,a back end flash that would possibly solve the over torque issue I have with my piggy back RC

I've got EWG control ready to go for catless just waiting for more connectors to come in so I can make some addl test harnesses. :)

Cant wait. Today is suppose to be the last day with Alphaspeed tuning (its been rough since they remote tune from Puerto Rico). Im hopeful i can get you some logs tonight!

I actually plan on getting this whole piggy-back support tune in the next few months.

It's already up on Tork's site as a duplicate of the FB post, but now with the ability to buy it.

Fixing the overboost with just the back end flash isn't going to happen. I would go full tork tune, or Jb4. Also you should think twice about removing the secondary as you will eventually start burning oil and smoking like others. You need a little back pressure with the stock turbos.
I'm not against Race Chip but since you are pushing the envelope, time to move on.

When I asked John about the ECU Tune he just said put back on the secondary cats , but of course they were gone long ago lol just hoping someone here in Canada can make a tune for it when all my mods:(

I think every tune is working well with primary cat and no secondary if you keep it under 20 psi.
Did you have RC jack up your race mode ? I thought that was around 19.5

yes I had them jack it up and thinking I have the strongest Map now they have ,and it pulls great until 2500 to 3000 when it cuts out and I do a quick( on and off the throttle), then it pulls hard again ,, now on sport mode which is a much lighter tune , no problems but it is much slower ! Perhaps I was just expecting too much from the AWD Kia ,, as mine only Dyno at 356.5 and all others show around 400 + , I was running off pump gas 94 to 98 octane when Tested ,, as I read earlier some have thought that they got better torque with only a muffler delete ,, I can say this as well as I gotten 550 fb torque and after the Jun Bl and Borla I ran 502 ft lbs but went from 320 hp to 356.5 whp AWD :) both tests were however done on a Dyno Com almost the same as Mustang Dyno,,which they told me runs 15 % lower than a Dyno Jet
 
It sounds interesting. However, the biggest (by FAR) piggyback out there for Stingers is jb4. On FB, Tork (John) last week basically swore on his family's life that he'd never work with Terry, ever, to his dying day. Yeah, THAT gives me confidence that he'll help customers stacking a jb4...

Tim , I am not sure TBH what the boost is up at as I have no Boost gauge on my Stinger GT

would this Backend flash solve my over spooling and or would the Stage 1 Tork tune which runs at 18 psi work better ..just asking ??

saw this on FB too, and Tork's response to me was that it was being offered as a cost effective option for those with a piggyback. I already have a piggyback and would rather do a full ECU tune. I'm still waiting on the sidelines for a good tune that can be applied by someone more local to socal, I can't be without my car for 3-5 days. I was set to pull the trigger and make it coincide with a few days I was on vacation, but I can't quite get a straight answer regarding the power increases. website says up to 100whp, one person who answered the DM to tork said 50-70 whp, and another said 70-100. I just want to know what I can reasonably expect to gain, and it sucks b/c it appears as if a lot of other parameters have been tuned (which is awesome and the whole point of a ecu tune).

Everything is going to depend on you mods, fueling and so on.
 
Sure, but.. you guys are also clearly "Team Tork". I expect John to go absolutely apoplectic the first time someone tells him Terry said it's a problem with the tune, not a jb4 issue..

Simple if this happens we flash back to stock and once the issue continues you will find it not to be the tune :)

I was told before by John to wait for the Stage 2 but I guess he never got the bugs all out as of yet , perhaps that stage 2 is now scraped :)(
