Wheel/size/offset and tire/size/profile...can be confusing.

(cross post from Aftermarket Wheels)
Only took me a year to pull the trigger.

So after a lot of back and forth what I received was 19x9.5 40 offset for the rears instead of the 45 spec'd, but I figured we'd just see how it went. Good news! Poke vs. no poke is a preference thing...for me it's not something I want on mine. So I was pleased to see what I'd call fluuussshhh on the rear, slightly tucked front. I can live without the 5mm.

Final specs:
Inovit Vector in silver (they also have black) from Fitment Industries, all TPMS and lugs, etc, in the package.
19x8.5 35ET with Conti DWS06 245/35/19 front
19x9.5 40ET "" " " 285/30/19 rear

The car is filthy. It rains here. Meh.

I've also been looking at wheels from Fitment Industries and watching their videos. :D

Compared with the OEM staggered setup, how is the handling now? Any pros or cons? Also, are the rears scraping the fender?

Not noting a big change so far. New tires on wet roads enabled a quite prolonged full power slide that earned me an "Infant" from my wife, but no rubbing that I can discern. All that shiny new metal sitting out there that flush does make for parking willies, but I've lived in city for a long time... pretty used to it.

Overall I'm happy with Fitment, they were very careful to verify brake clearance and such. Keep an eye on it, though, we did have some confusion re what I was ordering that had to be cleared up.

Glad to hear no rubbing. I'd like to avoid that at all cost. I also want to avoid poke at all cost. I'm ok with being stung but I don't want ever to be poke. :D Thanks for the tip on the brake clearance. Happy to know you're loving your setup!

Added my "snow wheels" config to the Google sheet.

My wheels are being shipped now

Here's my contribution:

Suspension: ARK GT-F springs
Wheels: Variant Xenon
Tires: Continental DWS 06
- F: 19x8.5 +33 & 245/40/19
- R: 19x10 +40 & 275/35/19

Rear is very tight, but the stretch seems just right and enough to avoid any rubbing (at least I didn't notice anything on the way home and tried to hit some good dips.

I don't think too many have gone this size but I'm happy with it. I didn't want to go taller or much heavier for performance reasons.
19× 8.5 with 245 40s
19× 9.5 with 275 30s
Tires have a smaller diameter.
Stretch is perfect on both.
Stock springs.

I don't want poke. :cautious: I don't want it exactly flushed either.

19A looks promising. However, I'm tossing between rear 19"x9" or 19"x9.5". The offset is key, eh?

Aurora black, I have an idea on tire price but not exact. Will probably go with Michelin AS3s for the tread life.

I got the black Friday deal, 300 off but add 400 for the custom powder coat.

@Mikia do your rears poke at all? Looking at the same size/offset but not sure whether to go 40 or 45.

Not so much of a poke but I was after a wider staggered stance. 3B2F0999-654F-483E-B310-0213DCBAE5A3.webpA5C79DD0-F4D9-4297-9706-42E1D5423283.webp 6271DF92-E59B-474F-9E8F-0D0E637A610E.webp 5F338A8C-AA48-4F99-8DAD-464236E594E3.webp C138956D-D551-44B9-9D50-D17919C87239.webp F33325AD-4992-4A73-846E-A3AF227D108A.webp
