You know what "they" say: emulation is the purest form of flattery.I apologize in advance but I might have to copy your setup next spring. PS - Do you think there would be an issue adding Eibach springs?

I tell ya, I’ve spent dozens of hours looking at Stinger fitment and wheel options over the past year. Didn’t make sense to buy anything over the summer and just burn off the stock PS4s before wrapping the wheels in winters, and make a decision by the spring.
Decided to pull the trigger a little early and take Variant up on their Black Friday deal and get some Kryptons in 20x9+35 20x10.5+45 in triple bronze.
They’re the second lightest wheel I’ve found (second to the American Racing AR924 at 24lbs) at around 25lbs and one of the few to give the option to get something other than silver or black.
pics when I get some
Check out Wayne Wayne Li (@hello.wayne) • 83 Instagram photos and videos . The fitment is perfect, you will absolutely not be dissappointed with the Sprints they're gorgeous and look great on the car.Hmmm, so I am looking at the 20" sprint wheels: front 8.5+30, rear 10+40. Will this sit flush on eibach springs? I read the spreadsheet and the entire thread, haven't seen any pics of this exact set up (from the other threads I've read, the Stingerhaus SEMA set up was 8.5+40 on the front). Anyone know for sure if the front will sit flush? or a few mm of poke?
They will, they have 20x9,10,10.5,11 "blanks" ready to go, you tell them what offset you want and what finish. If you want something non-standard they'll charge you a bit per wheel to finish them how you want. Great warranty as well. Also, they're really light compared to other options on the market. At 20x11, their Krypton is 25.75 lbs, which is pretty great for the price.WoW, those Kryptons are beautiful. I want to inquire if they'll make custom 19s.
Sounds right, you can put 245s on the 8.5s and 275s on the 9.5s, I’d need to check the profiles, but you might find the above a bit too narrow on those rims, 8.5 is what we have on the back stock with 255sDecisions, decisions. Its these or the TSWs right now. I would get these in custom 19s if the price was under $2K, I will have to inquire. Also ideally what's the best flush setup (staggered) 19x8.5 +30 225/40 and 19x9.5 +35 255/35?
Lots of people run the stock tires on those wheel widths, the rears might be a little pokey/flush, but I'll bet you'll be fine. Might limit the width of the rear tire you can run in the future, if that matters to you.Decisions, decisions. Its these or the TSWs right now. I ordered a set of the Xenon's during Variant's BF sale as well...19x8.5 +35 & 19x10 +40. Will be running 245/40/19 (F) & 275/35/19 (R) tires. Also have ARK lowering springs on the car (AWD GT1)...will post pictures when I get them installed.
Thank you for making this thread. Great info!
Is there a custom setup, from the OEM 19" staggered (for GT1), that improves performance? Or if performance is the ultimate goal, Should I stick with the OEM specs?

I forget which member is running wheels that he claims are under 20 lbs. My TSW "Watkins" (forged) are under 22 lbs. Thus they are 13 and 14 lbs lighter than the OE GT wheels. I thought that after running on this setup since March, that I'd notice a distinct difference in response and handling when I switched back to the A/S Nitto Motivo tires on the OE wheels: but instead the ride feels/sounds pretty much the same. I haven't pushed in the corners as hard as I do on the Pilot Sport 4S tires, mainly because I already know the Motivos won't grip as well and will start yowling at me long before the PS4S. I think that the PS4S is a better tire than the PS4 that is OE; I think it is quieter and grips without noise at a higher speed. When I replaced the PS4 with the PS4S a few months ago, I thought at the time that the ride was quieter; and definitely they gripped better; but perhaps that is more a function of full tread compared to worn tread, rather than a differing compound.“ultimate performance” is usually defined by the weight of the wheel and the compound and tread of the tire. If you’re looking for the ultimate lightest wheel, you could go down to an 18, but I think you’re sacrificing some aestheticsfor a super light wheel check out the American racing AR924, in 20” it’s 23/24 lbs, if you go for smaller diameter you can probably get down to 19-21lbs, but I haven’t seen that yet for a stinger.
The AR924 would be an enormous improvement over stock, which are an obscene 35ish lbs. 10lbs per corner is huge.

The thing that can mess with the car is changing the OD.Thank you for the information!
How about if I were to widened the wheelbase? Like so...
Front: 19"x8" ---> 19"x8.5"
Rear: 19"x8.5" ---> 19"x9"
It's just a 1/2" difference from the OEM setup. Or let's say I go 1" from the OEM setup. Provided that the wheels and tires are good brands and ratings, will it improve performance or will performance suffer? I ask because the engineers know what they're doing so any changes I do will have some kind of impact. I just don't want to make it worse.![]()

You won't have any negative effects from running wider, but your steering feedback could change: wider in the rear (more grip) tends toward oversteer; but mostly we won't experience it unless we run curves like we are tracking the car.
Offset is key to maintaining a flush wheel with the wheel wells. I run 8.5" wide in the front with 40 offset; and 9.5" in the rear with 39 offset, and it looks like this:

Only took me a year to pull the trigger.
So after a lot of back and forth what I received was 19x9.5 40 offset for the rears instead of the 45 spec'd, but I figured we'd just see how it went. Good news! Poke vs. no poke is a preference thing...for me it's not something I want on mine. So I was pleased to see what I'd call fluuussshhh on the rear, slightly tucked front. I can live without the 5mm.
Final specs:
Inovit Vector in silver (they also have black) from Fitment Industries, all TPMS and lugs, etc, in the package.
19x8.5 35ET with Conti DWS06 245/35/19 front
19x9.5 40ET "" " " 285/30/19 rear

The car is filthy. It rains here. Meh.
Thanks! We took our time to ensure the right choice, no? Looking at the Krypton rims you selected, mine almost could be knockoffs...nowhere near the build quality, I think, but very similar visually. GMTA.Congrats! Looks like we both pulled the trigger at the same time, your fitment looks perfect and.... Nice style choice![]()
