Wheel/size/offset and tire/size/profile...can be confusing.

I see them fine Merlin, seems something on you end /shrug

Thanks Mikia, that combo looks great, maybe a tiny bit of poke (1/8 or so)?

My wheels are on backorder so of course I'm second guessing my offsets while I wait. Has anyone gone with a bigger offset with the intent of using spacers "just in case"?

More pictures as I figure out the final fitment. I'm surprised at how close the fronts are, I didn't expect the front to have as little clearance with this fitment, but themoreyouknow.gif. There are 2 reasons why I might be this close, a) AWD b) ECS, not a lot of specific fitment information for either AWD cars or cars with electronic suspension. @Kamauxx has the exact same fitment and reports no rubbing.

Now that I've had the wheels on the car, I would suggest going, if you're buying custom, with somewhere between 9+30 to 9+32 in the front, whereas a lot of the off the shelf wheels are all 9+35. The 245/30r20's that I'm putting on here will have a little stretch to them.

If you look at the side shot, you'll see that the rear are going to be a little wider track than the fronts, so 10.5+45 should still end up being quite flush, and in comparison the front track is a little more narrow.

I didn't come equipped with 2x4's to get ride-height measurements, I'm planning on getting tires on these and re-mounted again to see if I'm going to want to put some 3mm spacers on the front. If the tires have a big lip, I might make contact, so we'll see. Definitely would have gone a little lower on the offset had I known in advance.

Wow, that front fitment is tight! What are the front wheel specs? 20x9 +35?

I run 19x8.5 +33 in the front with a 245/40/19 and it sits just a little inside the fender. The tire is not stretched at all with an 8.5" rim, but I'm willing to bet you'll get enough stretch with the 9" width that the strut won't be an issue.

Mine were just as close with 19x9.5 Niche Misano M116 +35 wheels, If you went +30 instead of +35 you wouldn't need spacers up front.
I went with 5mm hubcentric spacers (67.1mm I.D.) But then you can't use any hubcentric rings if the ID of the rim is different than your hub.
In the end I had custom hubcentric spacers with integrated rings machined for me.

Anybody running with
20x8.5 35 front
20x 10 40 back

my old set is
20x9 32 front
20x 10.5 45 back

never had problems but wanted to visualize it since that the only size that they offer near what I want.

That’s basically the TSW Sprints with a touch higher offset up front, have a look at some sprints and the front will be a touch more inset but still acceptable.

took the word right out my mouth ... too close to comfort here :confused:
On top of that, as above, I don't know if it's that the fitment is tighter because it's AWD, or ECS or both, but there are a number of examples of people running 9+35 up front without any reports of fitment issues.

Hope it works because that's what I bought too!

Would love if you could get some suspension measurements when you get yours so we can update the spreadsheet with more fitment info, you're GT2 RWD, so that might isolate whether AWD takes more space than RWD.

Ordered a set of Vossen VFS-6 's for next summer, gonna take a while for them to arrive.
Gonna be running 20x8.5 et32 in the front and 20x10.5 et45 in the back. Wheels probably gonna be 245/35 in the front and 275/35 in the back. Their gonna arrive as plain but the same guy who ordered them does professional painting and final result will be something like the pictures.
Gonna add KW springs to lower also and then possibly add Ingo Noak full bodykit also.
