It's all messed up, JB4 map 2 stock gapped, with intakes only.

You can only plug it in one way unless you force it as one peg is keyed. There is also a clip.

If wrong you won't get canbus data in app.

Even though I knew about it, it still happened to me the first time - it just felt light a tight fit. After not getting any canbus data, I went a double checked and realized my mistake. Not saying this wasn't user error, but if you're ever looking to improve, maybe putting some colored paint/tape on the two plugs on the sides where they match so it's easy to see which way they line up or something wouldn't hurt..

So update. Downpipes/ mbrp full exhaust and intakes installed, Have my upgraded plugs gapped properly installed from Burger Motorsports. Running about 35% e85 and 91 octane. On map 2 still getting the same misfires I can feel it popping when I jump on it in some gears sometimes not all the time. for instance just had it in eco mode on the freeway going about 75 and floored it and started popping like crazy, like what the f*** is up with this car I've got everything done properly and still does the same bullshit. And to top it off no codes f*cking nothing to go off of to see why or what it's going on or.. plug/cylinder. Then I go to run logs and it runs perfect no problems. Pulls strong pulls hard and seamlessly it only does it when I'm just randomly stepping on it here and there. not to mention having the car sound like a big piece of shit with these/ downpipes & mbrp exhaust, which now I need to either send back or put resonators on it, one f*cking thing after another with this car, throwing more money at bad products it shouldn't be doing this it shouldn't be doing this randomly it should never do this, the car has 9500 miles on it couldn't have bad coil packs. everything is spot on and it's still doing it I got the rightright running I got everything dialed in and it's still does the f*cking misfire, seriously I've had it with this car I literally want to just take everything off and take it back. all this money and everything I've done I've been disappointed with from the exhaust from this whole spark plug issue and misfire issue and now I'm just venting. I don't have time to do all this logging putting it on map zero putting it on map one putting it on map to it just shouldn't be f*cking doing this period.

I know the feeling!! When I snapped a stud installing primary downpipes I ended up replacing the entire turbo on my passenger side. During the process there were times I wanted to just give up and sell the car and drive a beater.

But, now, a couple months later, I am getting the urge to install primary Downpipes again, now that I know what I'm doing and what to expect.

Don't be like me and make rash decisions. Give it some time, try to calm down and focus on other things that you have control over. Once you're able to get your head back on straight, you can visit the car problems again and hopefully fix everything up right.

Good luck!

Make sure when your jumping on it you have traction control disabled, might be fighting traction issues

Yeah I get it but it keeps me up at night knowing brand new car out there isn't running right, after going through installing all the stuff and having problems after problems. And then on top of it it sounds like a dirty old Honda beater with this shit mbrp exhaust. There's got to be a defect in one of these muffler Chambers, so now again more money having it taken off shipping it back.... I'm worried I put resonators on and it's not going to fix the problem I still need to put on the resonated muffler tips what you're a little too big so I have to grind out the opening to even see if these tips will work. I know one step at a time but there's just too many steps in front of me right now too many other things to do.

Yeah I have the traction control all turned off including stability. funny thing about that in the rain all of it still works even when it's turned off that still shuts the car down to gain traction again like what kind of b******* is that?

Yeah you can't totally deactivate it. Out of curiosity what tires are you running? You're RWD right? Is the misfire feeling only under full throttle?

Just run a tank of shell 91 on map 2 and see what’s what. Change one thing at a time and review, start with fuel.

It just doesn't seem like it's a fuel issue cuz it runs strong 80% of the time it just randomly every once in awhile has horrible misfire. Even my girlfriend is like was what the heck is that!!!

It takes a couple weeks for the exhaust to sound well. I thought when I installed Borla it was a bit raspy. Over time the car especially with the JB4 Installed seemed to adjust it. Now it sounds great. Not sure on your misfire issues though.

Yeah this is Scott a rasp and then has a weird almost vibrating rattling noise it's absolutely awful and I don't know if it's just because of the downpipes or not wondering if everybody exhaust sounds like this. If I shift with the paddle shifters it sounds okay it's when it's in drive just going to normal shifting. But I can't be a hundred percent sure it's not a defect.

It’s not normal for the exhaust to sound that way. Pretty sure I said that in the MBRP thread. Why don’t you just put the stock midpipes back in?

A lot of the additional power comes from the downpipes and allows you to run the higher boost.

If you say so but then at least you’d know if it’s your exhaust making the rasp or your midpipes.

The downpipe’s are not making you much more power if any.....I’ve not seen any proof of any significant gains from down pipes on these cars. Take them off and reevaluate

Even though they have two catalytic converters on them and larger diameter piping?

If you say so but then at least you’d know if it’s your exhaust making the rasp or your midpipes.
The mids do cause the rasp and vibration in the cabin and they add virtually no power. About 15 tq in the high 2k range and 1 hp!
Save the headaches and go back to stock. They also make the exhaust 15-20% louder by my estimate.
I've had mids on and off a few times and have resonated ones now but add no power. I ran 20 psi , 11.8 track with stock mids.

Yeah it's a done deal I'm going to go ahead and switch them back.
