Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

Spotted two yesterday! A red one in Camarillo heading south on the 101 with USMC license plates and chrome wind deflectors on the window sills. Then a few hours later in San Luis Obispo, a black one. For a minute there I thought I was the only one in town, guess not.

Ceramic Silver with black side stripes westbound M4 Huntingwood @ 10:20am, then @ 10:25am Silky Silver westbound M4 Greystanes.

Deep Chroma Blue GT coming out of liquor store on North Lake Road, Jandakot at 3.00 pm today. No time for a photo. Second time I have seen this Stinger at this store.

Hit the Stinger jackpot today! Saw 10 on the roads today while driving around and testing suspension setting with the Mando SDC box. This was after the 9 new and 1 used the dealer had on their lot, when I was in for service. What was surprising is that the 6 of them were Ceramic Silver! 2 Reds, 1 Silver and a Blue. I found it shocking considering last year, it was hard to find a CS anywhere. Felt like I won the Stinger lottery.

This evening, 6:30, northbound on State St, I saw a Micro Blue waiting at 5900 South to left turn onto southbound State: tiger nose upper grill, "teeth" in the lower grill: so a 3.3L positively IDed. If it had been a 2.0L I'd have not seen a positively identifiable Stinger feature in the short amount of time I had.

Well what would you expect, I was upstairs in my office & the car was approx. 25+ metres from me at our other building, I zoomed in on my iPhone SE & it was taken through thick glass, so apologies for the picture quality, I’ll try harder next time, jeez.

I second that, it ain't easy out there in the wild trying to harvest these gems. Back in April I happened on the HCR snoozing in the shade at Wagga-Wagga tourist info centre. As you can see its in reverse after I startled it. But worse than this a blonde English tourist screamed out "Photo bomb" and cackled graciously. I beat a haste retreat back to my vehicle.

We need some "In the wild" cred here folks:rofl::D.20190423_144230.webp
