Check this out!!! (ECS control module)

I'm trying to think of a way I can introduce a grounding spot/plug that isn't too obvious that I can plug my stuff to ground into and be easily removable later, like for this mando unit.

You can still unplug the actual power cord from the unit but then it'll still be attached/hanging in the fuse box/door area... Idk I don't believe they'll ever need to get in there for just changing oil... But if they are diagnosing anything related I'll be sure to remove it before taking it in...

The JB4 I know will be coming off always before it goes into the dealership. This mando unit... probably don't need to be removed every time. Just specific cases where they might dig around in the fuse box area or check-in/around the steering column.

Has anyone in australia got this and fitted it

I fitted it on the weekend. I have Eibach springs and Korean sway bars fitted. I've only used it on the modules comfort setting so far which for city driving is better than the standard comfort setting (less bounce)

US$400 plus US$10 shipping plus local GST. Bought through Ebay. The sways certainly give a greater benefit than the springs

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Ordered last wednesday to RPM... received tonight! excellent service!
Thanks to all the guys who have provide information in the past 18 pages....
Hopefully there will be 18 more pages on settings...

Do you reckon its a bang fpr buck mod as I'm use to coil overs and hard suspention
Too early to judge at this point but there seems to be plenty of adjustment available and as it is made by the same company that supplies the std module in the car it is obviously very compatible.

I have Eibach Pro kit installed (springs and both front and back sways). Good to hear feedback on the Mando with these mods. My module shipped today!:D

I have Eibach sways on soft, all else suspension wise is stock. I've been using the mando for about 1.5 weeks. I believe it's a great compliment to the sways. A lot of adjustment available, though I keep going back to the comfort/sport settings within the app. And yes, @Waynerm002 has been awesome at sharing his settings What's your favorite Mando setting! Post it!. Bang for the buck...I think yes.

I just installed it this morning....
the comfort setting is a lot better than factory USA setting...sport damping is a lot better better.
Not every person evaluates suspension behavior equally...

Questions that came after install it, that I dont have the answer clear;
Power should be switched or constant? (I connected switched)
Do you have to connect your phone every time you want to use app? select device , connect , etc.....
once you close the app it disconnect from the module, ( no matter the car is on)
What are the comfort and sport settings parameters? to use then as a base to make the custom ones?
Custom 1 and 2 start at 50% front and rear....maybe too much for daily driving..

Congrats on joining the club! We all agree the standard App settings for Comfort and Sport are way better than the car's stock setting. I always have to connect once I get in the car but my Bluetooth connection stays on throughout the ride until I turn the car off. My Custom setting was at 40% front and 60% rear from what I recall. I have done an initialization multiple times and it come back at 40% F/60% R, mine is a 2019 GT2.

Installed mine tonight, very easy. Thanks to everyone who contributed install information! I have only driven the car for about 15 minutes and then only the built in comfort and sport mode with the car in comfort mode. Really liking the difference in the ride of the car. Smoother and much less jiggly. Will review further, but from what I can tell the factory setting suck compared to this.

I am still confused as to whether moving the car setting from comfort to sport and visa versa changes anything. Or does moving the car from comfort the sport change the comfort and sport setting in the app?

Are you guys running the apps comfort and sport setting with the car in comfort or sport?

When you setup the Mando box with the car in Comfort, then switch the car to Sport, there is a slight change. Much like switching from Comfort to Sport without the unit. It’s minor but it’s there.

Okay, so the two are basically combined and the effect is additive. I can't wait to tinker with int and try some of the other tunes being shared here. I was amazed at how fast I got the unit.

Cyrus? You out there? No feedback yet?

I'm here. I have it installed and still playing with it. I agree so far with what everyone is saying (I have no sways and no springs). More comfort in comfort. More sproty in sport. Need to find a good road sometime soon and test the custom settings back to back. Will report back after that.

Going on a road trip before the weather gets too cold with some work buddies and will also play with it there.

Need some more time to gather my thoughts but so far a decent investment looking to change how the stinger rides (for more comfort or more sportiness).

The terms ride and handling in the app confuse me a bit. Does anyone know what these actually effect? I. E. - which is damping and rebound? Or is it more of stiffness collectively and roll?

The “Ride” setting controls compression.
The “Handling” setting controls rebound.

So based on that I've found this: KONI shock tuning guide
Doing a little research to figure out how the values should change based on speed...

I have no true idea how the module works, but I would guess based on the wiring and descriptions the Mando module is an additive/subtractive system similar to the JB4. Which takes in steering angle, speed, and current signal value then modifies the signal output to increase/decrease the value being fed to the suspension modules. From factory it would make sense for our vehicle to adjust the compression/rebound with speed.

If it rides hard or soft at all speeds then the basic tab is probably all you need to adjust.

If you find the vehicle rides too hard at slow speed but the oppisite (soft) at high speed, then that would be a situation where you would use the advanced tab to customize the settings based on speed. Considering the car's rear tends to bounce when taking hard corners that aren't perfectly flat (I've only experienced a small number of times in specific situations), we can probably find a setup to fix some of that.

Going to need some more time to find an area where I can test this hypothesis and get it repeatable with the module off and on, then play with the settings. I know a decent strip of road around here, which I might be able to test this on... but Kansas has got no curvy, canyon/mountain type roads so my settings may be different from what some others with more spirited roads might find. Mostly roads and highway that's smooth with little/no imperfections. (Why we have a lot of muscle/pony cars out here).

I also have no idea when is the next amount of time I will be able to test this for a good duration so it might be a while before you hear back from me. That said maybe someone can take my words and test them for me if they have a little more time and see if it lines up. :)

I don't think so.
But I may be wrong so I'll ask them.
