I assume aftermarket exhausts are using 2" outlets as they all mate with the stock tips? Most of them look about that size. Piping diameter is 2.5" but the outlets look like 2".

Does anyone have these Akropovic tips on an aftermarket exhaust and can confirm that the two inch fits the exhaust?

For the akrapovic tips, does the inner diameter need to be exactly the same as the exhaust diameter? Or would something a few mm's larger than the exhaust still fit?

Just looking for some to put on my borla exhaust, but it seems 2.25" (or 57mm) only comes in some really funky colors.

They likely wouldn’t stay clamped tight and will rotate. Are you looking on AliExpress? This listing has your size and I’ve purchased a set and they look awesome.

Haha no you won’t get that colour. It’s just how the site works for the various sizes.

When dealing with dhgate or alibaba, always message the individual seller and ask once you find an exact one you want. Every seller on those platforms has different kits/bundles that they sell, and if you dont do your due diligence its easy to get burned.

If the item pics aren't enough, I haven't communicated with a single seller on either platform that didnt message me on whatsapp with videos and pics of the angles I wanted to see.

I have a set for sale and they look great. Just won’t fit my MBRP exhaust.

Not worried at all about them discolouring. For the price, I’d just replace them if it comes to that.

it wont be the sun , it will be the exhaust heat ....................I painted mine black and think they look so much better than stock ............cheap and cheerful but effective

Looks good but I still prefer the more aggressive looking round aftermarket tips.

Guys have been using these for a year or more now and I haven’t heard anyone say they’ve been damaged by heat or sun.

I agree the round tips looks great , but the ones I wanted were $1000 and thats a no go on my priority list
