I'm still a little hesitant about putting something called "A-Krap-ovic" on my car.. OTOH, they look nice, but I'd probably turn 'em so the logo is NOT visible, or get the ones without a logo..

They are elite systems. Their Ford GT & ZR1 systems are ear jizz inducing! The name is also not pronounced phonetically, fyi.

Fair enough. Loud exhausts give me a headache, so I've stayed stock / quiet as much as possible, and I don't really keep up on exhaust systems / companies.

Installed the Akrapovic tips, they work very well to move the exit point of the exhaust which subsequently decreased cabin drone from undercarriage reverberations, cut out the tinny sound but also decreased overall cabin sound of the loud fun exhaust sound. I got the wrong size (therefore external diameter of exhaust and tips were the same) and used butt clamps which made an airtight seal compared to the standard clamps. And yes, the car needs a good wash

Those look nice! I tried to find that style tip with an oval shape but could only find oval ones where the CF curves at the end. Here's what I ended up with:

Thanks!. It's PlastiDip. 5-6 coats of black for a base layer and 3-4 coats of burnt copper. Took a couple hours total on a Saturday.

That's what I was thinking. Just need to find a color that works well with HiChroma Red...

I got the 51-105mm glossy tips and they fit perfect on the OEM exhaust setup with no need to modify anything like some of the 89mm circular tips require. The only real work involved is removing the muffler section of the exhaust which you'll need to do in order to get the stock tips out. It's really not that hard but you should be ready to get the back end of the car up (I backed it up on ramps) and uninstall that section of the exhaust. Once the stock tips are removed and the muffler section is reinstalled, the new tips go on super easy.
