Hi...just installed the extrememly cool and amazingly-versatile and useful 10-inch Junsun dual-cam Android system that easly fits right over your rear view mirror, with just 2 narrow but sturdy rubbery bands. There are now many similar products out there, but this model A930 even comes with available extra Sygic navigation and WiFi, which I enjoy using, but has very limited Android app software storage, and I am using my own 64 GB TIF memory card. It even has an FM transmitter which can play through your car speakers, as I am not renewing Sirius.
I first bought one for my frequently- upgraded 07 Optima and road-tested it first , putting the rear cam inside at the top of the rear window. This worked so well , especially with the available full-time, full-color, wide-screen effect, which allows very crisp and clear views during day and nighttime use, but it really excels seeing clearly in low light conditions, especially at dusk and dawn. You can even quickly double-click to zoom in to full screen or access higher or lower views by quick touch if desired. Due to the extremely steep and narrow rear hatch sloping window, I realized this would be a good solution, and would work well on the very-restricted rearward views on the Stinger. Not too hard to hard wire with the add-a-fuse system, so I chose to plug it piggy-backed into my new 2018 Stinger's under dash fuse box, on the rear charger fuse, which works very well. Installation was fairly easy, especially after viewing the latest install videos now available on YouTube. You can choose to carefully route your camera wire through the upper headliner trim, weatherstripping and pillars, and around the upper air bags, (or just stay near the ground and use the lower weatherstripping and trim), and then carefully threading it out and up into the rear window grommet ( I chose the left side.) Then you can route the camera wire right along the lower window hatchback panel trim , which should be very carefully and slowly popped loose, using your narrow plastic trim pry tools, to give access to the area under the third stop light. Be careful not to break any pop grommets, and make sure to remove the lower side trim screw. If you are careful, you can slightly lift the soft headliner trim, but it will easily bend and crease if you push too hard. I now always remember to lubricate all my pop grommets before I reassemble the plastic panels, to make it much easier next time. After careful measuring, I chose to carefully pre-poke 2 very small holes with a sharp-pointed awl for the 2 very small screws , and then placed the very small rear cam (top-up) on the top edge of the very middle of the flat lower plastic trim, right below the third brake light assembly, and was then able to stuff all the extra wiring back into the rubber grommet's wide bottom hole. Be careful, as heavy black assembly grease has been applied to the grommet and weatherstripping, and will easily get on your fingers and exposed areas, so have wet wipes and paper towels ready.
