Yeah the Atlantica was getting those but limited to 500 or so ....then someone wisely decided to give those features to the GT2....I'm hoping for the stinger store to offer that remote start kit

I'd have to imagine that it's just a software update

It's not looking like there will be major changes for 2020, but here's my wishlist for 2021:

• bimodal exhaust
• full UVO with cellular remote start and climate control
  
• ultrawide infotainment display with smaller bezel
• carbon fiber exterior trim

All stuff available in other markets, or on other models.

Don't care too much about the other stuff you mentioned (although I certainly wouldn't complain about them!), but the full UVO app with climate control is huge. I'm holding out for a 2020 model right now, and if they don't add UVO, I'll probably just find a leftover 2019 GT2 to save some money.

[EDIT] - Just realized you were talking about the 2021 (and not the 2020). I'm still hoping they add UVO to the 2020. If not, I'll have to see if they add anything else that might make it worth paying the premium over a leftover 2019...

I like that I'm able to remote start with the key fobber, but don't like it that it shuts off the moment I open the door. The current UVO features are blah to me, so if we get this, I would certainly use it more.

I just want the 2020 to be quieter, that's all. I rented a 2018 GT via Turo, for a 3-days test drive, and it was great except the road noise. I know that something like road noise is subjective (perspective is everything) but to me it was way too loud. Other than that, an amazing machine, best bang for the buck hands down.

^^^Welcome to the forum, Matrathon! On the road noise, that may be more to do with the tires than the car itself. In normal driving, I feel my Stinger is relatively quiet in Comfort mode, with the exhaust note set to normal as well.

You might be right - I hope you're right If I do bite and buy, I'll get the AWD GT2 w/ the 18" All Seasons. More rubber, narrower, hopefully less noise.

I'm still shopping but drove AWD with staggered 19's ....didn't notice any odd road noises....I'm in concrete South Florida

It's not odd, is just there in bigger quantities that I would have expected. Again, is very subjective. Some don't hear it (bad hearing), some are used to it, some are just not bothered by it. But it is there. In a controlled environment, my 2016 BMW 750i reads 69 db vs the Stinger 73 db. I don't expect the Stinger to be as quiet as a 110k machine, but I thought will be at least as quiet as my wife's 2019 Sorento which reads 71 db. Huge difference.

But it's a semi-luxury touring sedan on its first platform.....seeing the improvements made from 18MY to 19MY, I'd suspect some of these issues to be addressed if seriously needed....didn't realize 2 decibels would make that big a difference....

Keep in mind that if you or for the 18" all seasons, they're speed limited to 130mph. If you go with the staggered 19", they're at 167mph. I wish I had known this when I got mine, but that's an excuse for me to get it tuned and remove the limiter.

It doesn't to a normal person. But @Metrathon has already as much as admitted that he's noise sensitive. Possibly acutely so. Who else measures the db level of their car's interior?! This the first time I've run across that. Everybody else just uses subjective impressions to decide if they find their vehicle noise level acceptable. But to turn subjectivity into objectivity requires either a scientific approach or a "fanatical" one.

Yeah, I hate placebo and wasting time & money. So I try to make informed decisions, based on facts, as much as possible. I know facts are not trendy anymore these days so go ahead and call me old fashioned

Currently I'm looking for a fun, non-German car, so I scout Turo for interesting alternatives and rent them for a few days. Drive them on familiar roads, run my battery of tests, file my conclusions in an Excel file. Yup, I'm that crazy

167 mph on I-405? More like 35 mph. Seriously now, I rarely go over 90 mph, and even then for very short bursts. I lived in Europe for 30 years, I got the "167 mph" out of my system already. Appreciate the point tho

The tire pressure at delivery has been reported as being much higher than recommended. Perhaps that was an issue in this particular vehicle. It seemed very quiet during my test drive. There also is an optional simulated exhaust tone that comes through the car speakers. Maybe the owner had it on 11 as his preference.
