C'mon David, do we really have to go through this. Because it's something that caused one to pause on a purchase, they're now called "little". Were they called little in the previous discussion? I expected a more civility from you than this, given that you are also a vendor.
But yes, those "little" air ducts that were in the photos as well as the installation video, but aren't included at the $1100 USD selling price. If it was an all-in-one solution, I would've pulled the trigger. I was under the assumption that they were included knowing that they aren't, i'll continue to compare before deciding on a purchase.
I'm sure Vellosa Tech would disagree as will several running those snorkels in terms of their effectiveness.
Wow, I think you took my response a little out of context. Me calling them little had NOTHING to do with one pausing on making the purchase of the intercooler.
My emphasization on the word "little" was not intended to be "uncivil" as you are making it out to be, it was meant to emphasize the fact that the small ducts are most likely not going to make much of a difference in terms of the performance of the intercooler. This conversation about the ducts not being included took place here 34 days ago, in this very thread on post #72, where we explained after confirming with Wagner that those are not part of the kit being sold.
Furthermore, I never said that the little ducts from Velossa Tech do not help force air into the intake, my post was referencing the effectiveness of the ducts shown in the original picture from Wagner making a difference or not with their intercooler. We have not even confirmed yet that the Velossa Tech ones would not fit with this intercooler installed.
I am appalled that you think my response was not civil, but I think you just misunderstood or took my response out of context. I may be a vendor, but I am also a consumer as well, that is very much into cars. I have been involved with the community and a Kia owner since 2011 and regardless if I sell car parts or not, have every right to participate in any debate or conversation as to whether I feel a part is going to make a difference or not.
I am open to the concept that they may make a difference, but am just saying that no one has done any type of testing to substantiate that yet, so people ruling out the product because it doesn't include the little plastic ducts, while being their choice, seems a bit silly since no one has confirmed statistically if they even make a difference or not. That's all I was saying from my post, nothing less, nothing more...
