• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Eibach Sways & Springs

Has anyone found/said why on a RWD vs an AWD the RWD the rear looks lower and not matched to the front but on a AWD they look the same.

Weight distribution.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Put weight in the front?
haha I actually think the back looks to low. On the AWD they look perfect but on the RWD the back just looks to low to me but I guess that's just personal preference.

But that’s the point. The awd has additional weight up front to bring it to the same height as the rear.

So the real option to get the fronts to match the rear for RWD is to cut (bad) the front springs slightly.

Or forgo the springs and go coil overs.

Gotcha or hope they decide to make a RWD options (blah another reason I should of spend the extra 5k for AWD)

Coil overs are SUPER expensive and then I lose the electronic damper control

Might be another option... not entirely sure but on FB saw this.

Might be able to buy aftermarket struts that give drop using stock springs.

It's not at all hard to get springs made with slightly different specs, or even have stock springs reset to a different standard height. Cutting springs is, as you said, "bad". If Eibach get enough requests, they can probably develop a set specifically for RWD cars.

Or forgo the springs and go coil overs.

That's an option - but you lose the dynamic stability damper control capability if you do that.

King Springs do some good stuff (they do some stupid shit with their Super Lows as well, but that doesn't make their good stuff any worse).

I had them in my SS they lowered the car about 25mm & it sat beautifully on the road, no issue with quality at all.

All,
I've received an update (see below) from John regarding our orders>>

I was going to contact you today as I asked the factory earlier on in the week, the estimated date for completion of manufacturing is week 21 (20th to 24th of May).
My aim would be to organise shipment to depart by the first week of June, which would mean arrival here around the beginning of July
I guess we can start taking the 50% deposit from next week with all deposits due by the 22nd of May.
Payment options for the deposit are :
1. Credit Card over the phone, each member to contact our office directly on 02 9999 3655 (this is the easiest and preferred option)
2. EFT into our company bank account – for this to occur each member will have to email so I can email an invoice/order with our banking details.

I'll leave it each of you to make your own deposit arrangements.
( R - I've let FitR6 know under separate email)

Yes, plus shipping.

Yeah that's a damn good price. I wonder if there is a long lead time or they have them stocked?
Probably in stock, as everyone’s doing Sway Bars first that’s where the stock shortage is.
