• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Eibach Sways & Springs

Well I'm waiting for the earth shattering reaction on the new sways. I took it up and down the local twisty Mountain/Hill, the rears seems better but I didn't notice a lot from the front. Although ordinary driving the steering feels lighter but somewhat vaguer if that's possible. Under heavy exellaration I still got a small amount of rear shake. I'm probably going to have to give it another go. Maybe I was expecting WRX handling which I experienced for the last 13 years. Maybe setting to the firmer setting might be a solution.

These are tunable, you might try upping the rear to firm. See Chucky's and my comments on rear on firm.

I have the rear on firm and the front on soft and love the handling characteristics.

The Stinger will never handle like a WRX

Yep, a very different and heavier car. I am going to try to rear on firm again.

yep I do realise this but to be honest I was expecting to feel a lot more. The handling is marginally better, I'm thinking my Eibach springs obviously helped when I had those fitted last September. Back to the Mountain tomorrow for another go:D
Ahhh, well you definitely lost the "luxury" (aka 90's Buick) feel when you put Eibach Pro Kits on, I expect it wasn't due to the sways :)

pics anyone
There are pictures of the fitted sway bars but you will have to search through the threads. Use the Find button and search the headings under any "Eibach" and trawl through, I've seen a few pics.

Go up to the = sign top left and go down to find.

Are you still supplying the swap bars ?
I've had some discussions with the importer in Sydney and posed the question of a discount for forum members or a group buy. They are happy to come to the party with a discount on both sets if we can put together say 6 orders.
Sway sets...Currently there are none in Australia but an order is likely to go in next week with delivery some 6 weeks later. Discounted price for forum members would be $550 (usual $628) with delivery of no more than $30 to anywhere in Aus. For those that might want a set earlier they can be air freighted at any time for $120 but the cost would significantly reduce if a group order of say 4 was placed.
Springs...Are available right now at $368 plus up to $30 delivery. Will lower car by 20mm. 24 sets for Stinger have already been sold.

I'll start the ball rolling by saying i'm in for a set of sways.

Post your interest here and let's see what we can do.

I only arranged a group buy. If you contact John at Eibach Sydney and mention this forum he may be able to do you a good deal.
