I used Dynamat on the doors, hatch/spare tire area, and under the rear seats. I don't remember how much I used though.
I also used a layer of Dynaliner for under the spare tire cover.

Awesome! Did you get under the battery or is that where you stopped?
Also, for the Dynaliner under the spare tire cover. Did you put it on the molded piece that goes directly on top of the tire or on the underside of the actual flat trunk floor piece?
How difficult was it to take out the back seats?
I didn't do under the battery. The Dynaliner is under the actual trunk liner. That back seats weren't hard to remove at all.
How much would you say it reduced the sound?
The car was already pretty quiet. I did it to enhance the performance of the sound system and to give it a more solid/luxury-like feel. It was a success on both fronts.
I find a couple of dead bodies stuffed in the back does the trick. Trouble is you have to get fresh ones every few days. Lol
Seriously Ozstung did the sound mat to stop the muffler drone and it seemed to work. There is thread somewhere that has pics.
Stock exhaust?
Thermal +SSR mids
Is it pretty obvious when you get in there how to remove the back seat, or is there some type of guide as to how to do it?
I did as Kamaux did, Dynamatted floor+ Dynalinered (6mm/1/4") the underneath of the boot (trunk ) floor lid. It got rid of 90% of the reverberation and 60-70% of the drone . Well pleased.I used Dynamat on the doors, hatch/spare tire area, and under the rear seats. I don't remember how much I used though.

Dynamat.com | Dynaliner for Automotive Use
"Dynaliner is the most effective automotive lightweight thermal insulator available, and perfect to use on top of Dynamat Xtreme."

You asked if you put the Dynaliner on top of the Dynamat. Their site says it's perfect for installation over top of Dynamat Xtreme, so I'd assume the answer to that question is "yes".
You asked what thickness - they suggest the thickest that fits, and give some examples in that table.
One of the reasons I chose Focal BAM XXL (bam XXXL - Focal) is because it includes two layers - effectively the equivalent to Dynamat Xtreme's heavy base (and foil lining) and a closed-cell foam top layer that is the equivalent of the Dynaliner, all in a single product. It's not cheap, but it's effective.
Sorry I read your previous posts but did not read your name (did not match your last post with previous ones). You have much better idea than me. I just started exploring.
I was asking for thickness because if I fit both 1/2 inch thick sheets, I would end up at 1 inch total thickness. So was just trying to get an idea what can fit till it's an issue (may be to put spare in).
BAM XXL looks interesting. Can find it for 340 for 2 square meter (slightly more than 32 square feet). 32 square meter of Dynaliner + Dynamat combo would cost me 340. LUXURY LINER PRO from second skin (that would cost me $240) looks something similar (or is just barrier) but doesn't have adhesive and I assume won't be as good (as BAM XXL).
Is there something similar (to BAM XXL) that's cheaper?
PS: I don't listen to loud music, so I won't be creating vibration through sound system (if that's relevant).
