Well, sure, I know about airflow.. I also know that for example, for my '05 LGT, intakes aren't usually considered useful until you've done up/down pipes, turbo, tmic, injectors, pump, tgv deletes, etc.. Even then, not a great bang-for-buck. Both stock intake and stock cat-back exhaust are generally considered "not a significant restriction" until you get > 300 whp (stock is ~180-200 whp).
On a stock LGT, even "official" SPT intakes often made things WORSE, and were hard to tune for and avoid dangerous lean conditions. Same with other CAIs - the general advice was to avoid them unless you really needed it.
How much can you actually gain from intakes on this car? More than 10 whp?
