Now they are on can you check when it’s dark to see if they are still “reflectors”.I wouldn't be too cautious mate...most business will honour any errors they make. Just get it done, you won't regret it.![]()

Yeah mate but done the brake lights have reflectors built in if the lights are off or don't work? As far as I'm aware the bottom reflectors aren't a legal requirement....my only issue is having what appears to be a flashing red light as an indicator....just called police to confirm but idk ATM...it's technically an orange led behind a red reflector. Now they are on can you check when it’s dark to see if they are still “reflectors”.
Nah it goes straight up the hole to wiring harnessThey look great but if they are red WA police are going to pull me over, has to clearly be orange. Did he have to take bumper off to fit the light part?
Looks amber to me...put your Aviators on.They look great but if they are red WA police are going to pull me over, has to clearly be orange. Did he have to take bumper off to fit the light part?

Best thing I can do is have an isolate switch and every time I get ours over isolate the indicator wire haha I used to have blue LED lights under my FTO and it was a $140 fine each time I got pulled over for itHate to rain on your parade but I just found this.

Blue is a definite no no in any State or Territory. Maybe have it checked at the RMS for an opinion/clarification.Best thing I can do is have an isolate switch and every time I get ours over isolate the indicator wire haha I used to have blue LED lights under my FTO and it was a $140 fine each time I got pulled over for it
Yeah I know haha but even with blue lights didn't get defected or lose any points because it had an isolate switchBlue is a definite no no in any State or Territory. Maybe have it checked at the RMS for an opinion/clarification.
Can you explain this comment haha I'm a noobLooking good Hemmy. Is your Unichip guy also changing out the plugs for colder ones and regapping them down?
Can you explain this comment haha I'm a noob
Thanks mate, appreciate it.A lot of guys running tunes including piggybacks like the Unichip have been cracking the stock plugs because of the increased boost that is being made. More info here How to avoid blown spark plugs in your tuned Stinger. If you’re new to tuning it might pay to have a read through the tuning subforum first. I don’t want to make it sound like I’m an expert on the subject because I’m absolutely not but I don’t think the warranty situation is as cut and dried as it’s made out to be either. It’s easy to say that KIA have to prove the mod caused something to fail in order to deny a warranty claim but in reality all they have to do is deny the claim. Then you have to prove that the mod didn’t cause the failure. The onus of proof is reversed. Like I said, I’m no expert. It might be worth your while talking to someone who knows more about these things than I do. And by that I do not mean someone who is selling you a 2000 dollar mod.
I only just watched this mod being done last night, I thought it looked good but it would be good if someone would make a legal one for our country. As soon as I saw the demo of it after the guy installed it I thought no good for us here due to the red blinkers. I wonder how hard it would be to 3D print the fronts in amber plastic?
I'm so happy with it!!!!
Yes but how did u get the old ones out.Nah it goes straight up the hole to wiring harness
They just pop outYes but how did u get the old ones out.
I have and I’m not colour blind! It’s red, flashing and illegal as StingerGTSS shows. Only solution is 3D print a new set or keep his fingers crossed he doesn’t get pulled over.Looks amber to me...put your Aviators on.
Printing a new set won't help...if you make it amber then the brake light is illegal lol only option is disconnecting indicator cable and having it connected when you're at a car show or on cruisesI have and I’m not colour blind!
