Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

Man that IAT line is flat. Do you have a comparable log in similar weather to see what the stock FMIC did to IATs?

Edit: lol didn't see you spoofed IAT. nevermind.

Yeah the IC testing is sort of pointless in this cold weather anyway. That should really shine when it heats up. :)

Hey Terry, could you take a look at my logs and see if anything odd is going on? I hit the dyno and the curves came out pretty weird, instantaneous torque followed by a massive drop off. All the logs are from the dyno runs.

Limp mode? Over boosting? What mods are you running?

Mods are in the signature:

2019 Stinger GT2 AWD | Ceramic Silver / Red Interior
JB4 | K&N CAI | SSR Midpipes | TurboXS BOVs | Eibach Springs
Stance SF07 Wheels (Summer) | MODA MD26 Wheels (Winter)

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
JB4 + fuel wires, SSR midpipes, K&N intake, TurboXS BOV. I've got a sneaking suspicion there's a boost leak at the BOVs

That was my first guess. Put your stock diverter valves back on and see what you get.

Yeah boost seems to be down 2-3psi from what I'd expect at peak HP.

Are you confident the dyno was operating properly? Are there any other runs from the same day to compare on that end? To be honest your logs look perfect to me....
  • Boost is where it should be (18 peak, 16-17 midrange, then tapering down)
  • Timing is where it should be (steady ramp up to ~20 degrees, although ign2 takes a drop around 6100rpm on map 5)
  • AFR is steady (11.8-11.9)
Would a 2-3 psi loss really drop power THAT much? That curve looks crazy weird.

Ok, jb4 installed with supplied plugs gapped and installed, everything has gone extremely smooth thus far!

Map1 with e30 feels good no other mods yet.
Map2 same results. Car feels a little faster.

My observation was that the car when letting off falls forward, a little jerk if you will. And shifts seem to lose a tiny bit of power. How do I know if I need to update my firmware? Have you guys noticed this as well?

The map 0 run resulted in 320/425 which is really confusing because that's major torque bump, but dead on for stock HP; can't speak to other peoples runs at this shop, but they're super popular.

Currently installing my JB4, on the final step (OBD cable), and I’m confused on how to get this cable through the grommet...help? @Terry@BMS

Anybody know were the ECU gets speed from? e.g. front or rear wheels or transmission etc.

@Angel Thank you. That was definitely a pain in the ass! Everything is good to go. In one of the videos released by Burger on YouTube, they say you need to make some adjustments before you’re good to go; what are those?

**Looks like as long as I have v7, I don’t need to make adjustments.

clearly I’m blind

It says Firmware Ver. 21/7//5. Is that v5 or v7? If it is v5, what should I be inputting for fuel bias values?

v7
