I'll be in Sydney for a month from Wednesday in sick leave. Should show me your stinger
I'll be in Cecil hill at my girlfriend's house. (she hadn't seen a stinger yet) would it count as cheating if she saw yours before mine?

Anyone in Sydney got PPF and can give me an idea of pricing for chip problem areas only? As I'll get the ceramic coating on top of the ppf.

Was already on when I purchased so the standard Kia protection pack. Covers leading edge of bonnet, under door handles and rear bumper. RRP nearly $400 dealer fitted. Seems to have done its job so far particularly around door handles that are very vulnerable to finger nails.
Ceramic is highly recommended to bring out luster and shine and makes washing so much easier. Save a lot and DIY.

The standard Kia film is very thin according to others. Xpel and Suntek seem to be the best with good warranty.

Maybe it would go well including the ceramic coating? Just trying to think what my best option would be given the dealership are doing interior/exterior plus tint for only $1500.

Again don’t scrimp. PPF needs to not go yellow and be thick enough to stop rock chips. I haven’t seen the Kia stuff but it may be worth looking into it. Just to PPF the front end including hood would be about $2000 , whole car $5k, that’s if you use the good PPF. Stone chips will usually come from front. There are some factory PPF pieces near bottom rear fenders so don’t remove that as chips happen there too.

Sounds like a good plan then. If you do PPF later you will have to get paint buffed and prepped tho. Can u rob a bank? Lol

Ring around talk to a few people and then you will get a conscenus. A lot of suppliers talk BS , at least that’s what I found. Here on the forum there are few that have had it done, trust them. I think ozstung has had PPF applied too.

I would love to know what everyone thinks of this Small Damage Repair | Smartleasing
I'm fairly sure they go through motorone
I can include it on my lease for $999 over 5 years. It gives me unlimited call outs with no excess. Could work out better than PPF with the ceramic coating.

You need to look carefully at the pds (product disclosure)download at bottom of page in that link. It doesn’t cover scratches that go below clear coat, plus some other key things and you still have to pay $55 each time they come out.

It's free callouts through the lease so may be worth it.
