We've used it in the past on other JB4 models, like the BMW N54, where it's easy to reach the connector. In certain tuning situations it can be useful, but it's not without it's drawbacks. Offsetting the crank sensor has a negative unintended impact on fuel injection timing, camshaft timing, and other aspects of engine operation. And there are easier to use alternatives like the IAT offset we've been playing with. The biggest problem on this platform with CPS offset is how difficult it is to reach the sensor itself. Has to be done under the car, sometimes requires exhaust to be dropped to access it, etc. For us it's a hard pass on this platform.
