Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

What Kia has an software update ?? Is this for all stinger ... I don’t go to the dealer I do my owm service ..

yup is an update. You dont need it, but im happy with it. It used to bother me how hard the car would change gears in the morning.

@Terry@BMS Would you be able to provide any kind of info or feedback concerning the Kia Shift Logic bulletin, as far as if you know how it will react with the JB4 running? Trying to decided if I should get it or not during my appointment this coming Friday and haven't been able to find any concrete info on if it's a good or bad thing.

Customers have not reported any drawbacks, but I haven't had our car in for any updates since we got it.

I have 11/17 manufacturing date and asked when I went in for service and was told it wasn't for my car.

It's not for all trim levels. From what I've heard the GT2 doesn't get an update.

That's my main reason for going in actually. Warranty or did they try and resurface them?

They tried to we have to resurface them nonsense. I dint go for it, called VIP stressed why i didnt want them to resurface vs replacing and they agreed. They approved the replacement.

Made an appointment to get done this Thursday .... question did you remove the jb4 when you took the car in ?? Do they open hood ? Or just plug the tablet to the obd port ?

It's a bit gappy looking, but I guess no worse than the factory 18" rims. I have lowering springs to install that should improve the looks a lot.

Did you get the new pads? The dealership did my rotors about 100 miles and 3 weeks ago and haven't been driving the car since I'm waiting on the pads to arrive from Khar. Unfortunately, shipping is pretty slow from them to me. Amazon's 2-day shipping has spoiled me.

I did not Ill wait until to see if i have any other issues. If I do ill just get new Aftermarket rotors and pads and replace them.

Yes take the JB4 off.

Yes I did to in case there were any hot spots on the pads.
