Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

On n54 you said v6 would offer something for people running aftermarket DPs. Can you elaborate?
I installed my primary catless do and JT Fmic and was experiencing overboost due to the increased boost for the same WG DC with the primary DP . Terry made some changes and all is great now. Also made changes to the "passive delete" option logic that removes the cat inefficiency CEL. We actual went through 3 iterations in three days with additional enhancements. Car runs flawlessly and ferociously now. Jb4 v6 T3 with full catless is a serious combination!

Ahh, unfortunately I've only got secondary DPs. Thanks for the info.

It’s RWD

That doesn't sound right at all. Are you using slicks or something? Are you positive the JB4 is actually running?

When I had the stock tires on I would lose traction on map 1!

So what you have now that’s working is the current v6 t3 or did you have to adjust to get your results?

V6 T1 through T3 all work with DP, but iterative enhancements were made due to my testing with terry. World class service from Terry yet again working with me late over the holiday weekend. The setup with V6 T3 is very strong, smooth and no issues at all.

There are some launch enhancements and shift boost improvements I can definitely feel but haven't been able to time with dragy due to shitty weather. I see a sub 4, sub 12 run in the near future.

Thanks, we're always hard at work improving things. :)

I hope you RWD cars are using the JB4's unique boost by gear settings to calm down 1st and 2nd gear. :)

Really ? Terry checked my log from map 3 said it all looked good and fuel wires were working. I know changing to the eibach springs made a big difference to traction of the line. I’m concerned somethings not right here.

I’m not Terry and I hardly loose traction on Map 5, do you think the Eibach progressive rear springs would change the traction that much ? Or is something possibly wrong ?

Even stock I could spin them, the MY19 GT1 I test drove right off the lot let me walk it sideways out of the dealership.

Flipped into sport mode, I’ve got to be conscious with my open diff, or I’m a one wheel peeler pretty easily.

I have Eibach springs as well. Do you have a 2.0 or 3.3?

I haven't messed with it yet. But ya know, that may be what @D-C has done.

I’m definitely going to need to play with once the final install is complete.

V6 JB4 firmware has a virtual ethanol sensor built in. Still early days on development, but it's the precursor to full JB4 auto tuning. Where you just add whatever fuel you want to add and the JB4 sorts out the rest. :)

When we find the fuel system limits we'll release an upgrade kit for it including a physical ethanol sensor kit. We work very closely with Fuel-IT.
