Good to hear a comparison between the downpipes alone and the DP+AB exhaust, using the same car and same recorder. It's way too loud for me with the muffler delete, but the DP alone sounds acceptable considering the claimed power gains.

If I could gain power with zero increase in sound, that would be ideal for me - but the DP change seem to be a reasonable compromise.

I take by that comment you just have the DP's and the rest is 100% stock? I'd love to add a little "turbo whistle" from the exhaust on cold starts and just putzing around. Can you confirm? I wouldn't be opposed to more exhaust note...low revs she sounds great, high revs = no sound lol

I have just DP and I didn’t not notice the turbo sound getting louder. Intakes will make the turbos louder as well.

I just like the little turbo whistle from the exhaust. Intake is next, but was curious about the exhaust sound. My old AMG had DP's on it and stop and go traffic it had a beautiful turbo spool when you accelerated slowly.

Hahaha LOL you guys are funny .... I won’t keep going about the drone. I personally am young and don’t mind the drone and love the loudness.... but that a personal preference but the car sounds mean better than a cat back in my opinion ...I reccomended if your not sensitive sound and don’t mind drone... the reason I went into a tantrum about drone because I was writing that comments as the wife was driving the car and I was not expecting the vibrations to be that strong .... but in all honesty I think it was worth it but down the road I will probably see if there a car back that actually make the car loud without drone .... no disrespect to anyone with the Jun bl cat back or other cat backs just make the car sound ricey and high picthed ... I want a growl and deep and mean sound ... a sound that lets you know i am here .... this is Merica ... don’t F with me .....

I took another video of oem cat back with Downpipes. I would say 95% of the time they sound great but at low rpm and higher load they can sound like a trumpet . It kinds of makes a metallic sound at the same time. Is this classified as rasp? Let me know what you guys think?

I think what you may be hearing is normal, it's the sound from the exhaust fumes exiting the dp...

I can almost make it out in the video, but not quite. I'm pretty sure I know what you're talking about though and it's pretty common when people start modifying the exhaust on their cars. I'm honestly not sure what causes it and I absolutely hate the sound. If it were me I would try to get rid of the sound but if I couldn't, I would sell that DP in a second.
