They were hoping I wouldnt notice ! ..................here's a better one for you ................they were going to replace the tires on my Sorento due to warranty problems ....................and they took off the old tires , rotated them and put them back on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! called me and told me "all's good , tires or on come and get it !! ......................beauty !~

Yes , but not not very convenient .......................but clearly this dealer has a serious problem in their service department .............I'm hoping the guys at Kia Canada find the fix .

I have been spoiled by the service department at my "previous" BMW dealer . When I got fed up with product QC issues I decided to try Kia due to their Reliability and JD Power rankings . The dealership experience was definitely a come down BUT in fairness I did not have any/many service issues with our Soul and Sorento , then I started having the noise issues with my GT .................truly has been a eye opening experience and has dampened my enthusiasm for the brand ................

WTF. It's almost surreal they handed you the car that way. Trying to weasel out of the damage is one thing, but they crossed a line - it's not SAFE to drive with a side wall like that, especially in the front :/

I'd bet my next paycheck it was a tech who knew exactly what happened and didn't want his boss to know. They're probably still trying to figure out who did it and how it happened and when they do, that head will roll and he knew that. Apparently they need a babysitter in that shop.

NO , those things can scrape a wheel but wont gouge a tire ................someone hit someting hard ,They are taking a wheel off a new car in the lot as well as the steering wheel , They have a new replacement tire on order !

I dont have OEM tires , I swapped for UHPAS tires so they have to buy me a new one !!

Plus they took 2 chunks of rubber out of the front right tire and the corresponding amount of aluminum out of the wheel to boot !! oh...............and they scratched my steering wheel leather .....................and got spray lubricant all over the interior .........................EPIC FAIL ! Man, I would have gone back & asked for the Dealer Principle, I would want someone’s head on a plate if that happened to me, that is absolutely disgusting I hope you have it rectified ASAP & dealership gives you some form of future credit.

From my perspective yelling and screaming gets things going in the wrong direction ..................I'm playing the long game on this with the objective of getting my car fixed . In future , if I choose to buy another Kia I'll go elsewhere...........................and they will know why !

"Yelling and screaming" are more emotional reality rather than public display, surely. I don't know any adult who resorts to real yelling and screaming. A look, a low tone, body language, can convey volumes. Content is all important. Clear, concise explanation and refusal to be bullied or conned, will accomplish without offense or threat. "Tearing off a piece", or "heads on platters" (heh!LOL!) are what we are doing to them inside our brains. And they can feel this because righteous indignation is operating. I agree with your approach entirely. "Firm but nice" is the way to go forward in this world.

ANYONE with the squeeky sunroof try this . start your car with the roof closed do you hear a slight 'FLUTTER " behind you by the top of the hatch for the start up ?? then open the slider all the way back and drive down a uneven road ....................does the squeeky/ creeky noise disappear ? close the roof and drive over the road again , does the noise come back ???? ............trying to self diagnose some things to help Kia Corp get this issue solved . The whole car feels more solid with the roof back ........hmmmmmm ???

And for the suggestion of being calm and not emotional, I get your point but it's hard to be unemotional when the so-called Kia professionals treat your 65k car like a cheap heap of junk. From most posts that I have read here, those who have been calm when requesting repairs on faults haven't had much luck getting things done neither. Soooo..... . I just hope you get things fixed is all.

I hope you guys all get these things sorted and on Kia's radar with proven fixes before they manifest themselves on my car (if they do)! My sunroof is still good I think, but I do have that "door tick." I tried putting my finger between the rubber seal and the inner plastic it sits on and found VERY slight movement in the door and it sounded like the tick stopped when my finger separated the seal from the plastic. I know another thread mentioned putting a spacer in the door latch fixes this, so I may do that this weekend. The seals are all lubed with Gummi Pflege so that's not the fix for me. Granted, I don't hear it all with the radio on, which is the case almost all of the time, but the fact is I have heard it, now it must be addressed lol.

I had a lot of noise from the doors, trunk and I followed this guide and my car is SILENT. I wasn't even going to attempt going to the dealership as the few dealers I have been too were unhelpful and their lack knowledge of this car was unbelievable.

I'm familiar with the 3 stage door fix, but you mention the trunk. Did you do a DIY spacer mod or something else for the trunk? Just so I can be aware of options other than the TSB if that's not the ultimate fix.
