The premium 2.0 does...the base awd, (which I have) does not.
You are wrong sir, the base RWD certainly does have LC.
Uh, because my car (a base model) doesn't have it....so you suspect it was optioned out?! Sorry, that sounds a bit out there...Why do you believe launch control isn't standard?
There is no lc button. Make sure the car is warmed up. Put in sport mode, hold down the traction control button for 3 seconds. When in drive and at a stop, hold brake down and gas pedal to the floor. Launch control will activate. All stingers have it.Here's a pic of the shifter, right next to the blank stamp where the l/c should be, go ahead tell me I'm wrong again.

I don't think there is an actual launch control button. Here's a pic of the shifter, right next to the blank stamp where the l/c should be, go ahead tell me I'm wrong again.

Now this guys is about to launch his car everyday now lolahhhhh My apologies......Why wouldn't a novice (like myself) not think a simple hold button was actually a launch control button, which it clearly is not.
hey!! my car has launch control!!
naw, nothing to gain and more to lose.......but nice to know. Now this guys is about to launch his car everyday now lol
Us 2.0L folks aren't left out!ahhhhh My apologies......Why wouldn't a novice (like myself) not think a simple hold button was actually a launch control button, which it clearly is not.

Don't worry, the Active Bonnet System (if equipped) is there to minimise impact to pedestrians. Just watch the insurance premiums go through the roof as stats on front end collisions come to light. That video also shows them activating LC with a pedestrian crossing immediately in front of the car so I’m not sure I’d be using it as my Bible.
A big thanks to all who contributed with the idea, templates & advice, I fitted 0.6mm stainless steel mesh in the wheel arch vent openings, I may have cut them a little short but they fit & I will see how they hold up, I have plenty of mesh left to make more. I purchased an A4 size sheet on eBay for AU$7 still heaps left for replacements if necessary.
Note to all: if you use the template, just cut each end a little longer, you can always trim some off, they are not really that hard to install, just a small flat screwdriver, no need for any type of securing the wheel well liner holds it in place.

Winter time , that mesh will clog in 50 feet.........but better than the alternative.........might just cover them all together with a solid piece pf plastic. Just to keep the crap out.I had mine done today too. AV8R sent me the mesh from WA (much appreciated) and I asked my car nut nephew to fit them for me. Took him all of 8 mins to do both. Looks great and will keep those damn rocks out.
Also gave my Stinger her first proper wash today. Used the foam cannon for the first time which worked well. Must remember to take pics in the morning and attach to this post.
