Nooooooooo. Sorry
Nooooooooo. Sorry
Oh, good garbage! That's not nice and it's not little, it's a gouge!
Ouch, sorry to see that & I’m feeling your pain, a bumper guy should be able to fill that gouge & touch up or a full bumper respray at a smash repairer.
Sorry to hear that, just went through that same scenerio wth my wife’s car....people that hit & drive off are low life grubs in my book.Someone backed into my Stinger at work, they were so nice not to leave a note or anything. Rear bumper and tailgate have to get replaced. A nice $2680(CAD) to replace both then a nice $2282(CAD) for shop materials and labour cost. Got my insurance to cover the cost, waiting for a call back but, it could be 4weeks wait for parts.
It would be if you had the 3.3L......lol.lets see , stop sign set sport mode, pushed traction control button for 3 seconds , minus stability control as well.....foot on brake, (no launch control on this one boys an girls)..loaded the torque converter....and side stepped the brake and mashed the accelerator!!
I gottta tell ya when I hit 60 it seemed faster than 5.7 seconds...........
I'm not a launch control "convert" yet. My limited experiments thus far tell me that a smooth rush on the pedal using "auto hold" works best.lets see , stop sign set sport mode, pushed traction control button for 3 seconds , minus stability control as well.....foot on brake, (no launch control on this one boys an girls)..loaded the torque converter....and side stepped the brake and mashed the accelerator!!

My left foot is planted firmly on the footrest. Like a security blanket. While the car is held stationary, waiting, I position my gas foot until I feel ready, then mash. But I'm sure I'd adapt if I didn't have an auto hold.my ''auto hold'' is my left foot ....they skimped a few things with this model.
to be honest there isn't a big difference, but the car is doing things to he car that are easier on the car than me power braking. A true line lock scenario would allow you to light up the rears (to get grip on a drag run)....that's the whole point btw.but with awd and not just rwd set up I am stressing too many areas of the drivetrain. My left foot is planted firmly on the footrest. What, exactly is the big difference between what you are doing and a launch control anyway? You hold down the brake and push the accelerator and then let go of the brake, so how does that functionally differ in the outcome from having a launch control?
If you placed a bet, you lost.Or something fell out of the hatch. We placing bets?
Yep. Garage door had a fight with the car. Car lost.I'm guessing garage door closed on it.
