What was your first car?

I just got to thinking - I'm really curious about what all your first cars were. Or truck. Van. SUV. Whatever... So what is it? Mine was a 1970 Chevy Nova that I bought for $300 in 1989. It had 89,000 miles on it. This wasn't the exact car but it's very similar...

In 1993 I was the "proud" owner of a 1980 Datsun 200sx. I drove it until the wheels fell off. (Literally the front wheel fell off)

Not 100% sure, I'm sure jumping it over the railroad tracks all the time didn't help things..

I used to tell my Grandfather, "I hardly feel the tracks when I go over them fast..." - he said, "The car feels it; not you..." - so I stopped doing that.

First car i ever bought was an integra in '91. Put over 100k miles on it then bought another.

My parents bought me a Subaru when i graduated HS. I totalled it a couple years later lol

My twin brother and I shared a Mitsubishi Dodge Challenger. RWD, manual tranny. I believe it was a ‘79... we bought it used... this ad promoted it as a GT! I guess I’ve come full circle!

Nice! Some very nice first rides for you guys! I think they're all nicer than mine was! But I bet none of yours came with a bird's next hiding in a rusted rear quarter panel.

1989 Merkur Scorpio --- it drove great....when it wasn't at the local Lincoln-Mercury dealer (who cursed it when I pulled into the service drive with my Dad)
