What did you pay for your Kia Stinger?

Understand your frustration! I leased a Premium but Kia service or lack there of is making me regret it already. Greenville tried the same not to budge on price but I pestered then and kept going back until they beat a deal in NC. Sure the car is fun to drive but feeling maybe I should have walked away too.

I walked away from Kia of Greenville TWICE for their bullshit. And it's a good thing I did too. Ended up getting a Sunset Yellow GT2 AWD from Kia of Munice for less. And I could have been even better, but I decided to roll ~$2k of a trade into the new Stinger. Fine with me as it's not going anywhere at all. I'll drive it til the wheels fall off.

Congrats! You def made the right decision and you have that unique yellow. Happy driving!

Hope to see you on the road! Haven’t seen one besides mine on the road yet.

GT1 AWD, Snow White, Washington - $44,850 (before taxes/fees)
Thus, about $1,500 off sticker. Thanks for the information.

A. Was it a good dealer?
B. If so, which dealer?

I live in the PacNW and want to compile 4-5 reputable dealers to work with so as to not waste my time.

My wife and I were satisfied with our experience with Lee Johnson Kia in Kirkland. I've read good things about Smith Kia in Bellingham as well, but got the "come in and then we can talk about price" from Performance Kia in Everett WA and Renton Kia. Our 2 cents...

I started my search at Lee Johnson Kia (to see the car in person), and it's where I've purchased several other cars over the years. I ended up at Performance Kia in Everett, and bought the car thru them. They offered a lifetime powertrain warranty (if you meet ALL of the maintenance checks).

Great feedback, thank you. Yes, I have already talked to a dealer at the PDX auto show, and it’s the “come on I’m amd let’s see what we can do.” Uh, no. That’s not how it works anymore - at least not for a lot of people... give me a price or not - dealers choice -and I’ll work with the ones that will work with me.

I didn't really play one dealer against the other, but didn't like the price I was initially quoted. Performance Kia is closer to home, and went there for a test drive. After a couple days of back and forth, we had a deal. I think anyone that pays closer to dealer invoice than MSRP is getting a great deal.

Funny thing MarkMark, the car I bought is being traded (color swapped) from Kia of Portland, as (at the time) it was the only White GT1 AWD with the black interior in the western states.

Another Washington buyer. Bought the blue GT2 AWD 3.3L. Paid 39K includes tax/License after 10K trade in for our Optima. Bought it from Dick Hanna in Vancouver, Wa. Great experience.

So, $49,000 out the door?

What was the sub total? Are their taxes in Washington?

10% in the metro Seattle area.

This deal sounds like a lease.

Congrats on your new Stinger, And welcome to the "hive" ;) Did you purchase or lease your sexy new beast? :)

Congrats!

$49$ out the door - not including 10% - insane - Seattle tax that is, yes?

Those in England left to find a new land because they had to pay the King two-weeks worth of their wages a year... Americans now work at least 4 months a year for our “King” Governments... “every time Congress meets we lose a little more freedom.” I think that also applies to Seattle’s Mayor meeting with his staff or Cory Counsil getting together - wow. It I digress...

If that is before taxes, nice $3k or so off...

All Kia dealers must pay interest on the cars on their lot they say they sign for them, and with these machines being quite expensive vs Rio and Souls, one of two things is likely to happen:
A. Kia pushes incentives (more of them) to keep the Stinger selling beyond the initial enthusiast market.

Or

B. Kia holds firm on having few incentives, Stinger sales slow, and the dealers dollars invested in them goes north in a hurry, and they won’t sell them for any sort of good deal, resulting to selling them to only a smaller niche audience who really wants this car at any price.

B2. This would result in Kia needing to either provide steep dis punts to keep sales moving, or write the car off as another K900 type of failure and pin their homes on the Genisis G70...

Inventories for Stingers are set to climb nationwide in the next 4-6 weeks (you can see it happening now), this it will be very interesting to see the new March Nation Sales incentives starting March 1st...

Hey guys, new to the forums here. Yesterday I picked up a White GT1 with red interior. A color I didn't even know was an option with white. I ended up having to travel about 130miles away from home to pick her up. But well worth it. This Kia dealership was so much nicer, professional and easier to work with than my local Kias.
I ended up buying a GT1 no driver assist package, dont care for it, for $41975. And this dealership gave me $1500 more for my trade than my local dealership. All in all very happy!

Yesterday night on my way driving home from work on the Highway I look at a KIA dealership next to the roadway and saw a yellow Stinger in their showroom. My heart was pounding with excitement, but realize I already got my Mirco Blue at home :( I originally want that color, but was told that it is not an option available here in the United States by local dealership. I came home and told the wife (BOSS) and guess what she say, "If you want it we can go get it for you." It took me a moment to react after she said that, but I then snap back to reality and face the facts I am already happy with the Mirco Blue Stinger GT RWD and don't want another car payment. Maybe when I pay off my other car loan I might make a move to for the Sunset Yellow and give the Mirco Blue to my wife ;)

ours is the yellow gt. that was the only one rick case had. it was delivered the morning we saw it. out the door, we paid 49,770 all in. tax, title, blah blah blah. they wouldn't take the mustang because of the age, so we sold it to the neighbors kid. score!!!! the mrs actually called 2 other dealerships, delray kia and gunther kia. theirs were a gt1 and a gt2, but both were in the low to mid 60's. honestly, even if i overpaid on the base gt, just the thought that the mrs giggles while she is driving it is worth it. and yes, it is her car. and funny enough, i activated the UVO and can monitor how fast she goes. now THAT is some funny @#$%!!!!

Congrats! Lease or Purchase? And location? Mid-west, south, PacNW, etc?...

Thank You! I financed it. I had a check it from my credit union. By the time I got there, everything was ready to go. I just had to hand the check over and sign and I was out the door in 10min. I technically live in the west coast but here in the south for work for a while.
