What did you pay for your Kia Stinger?

The full exterior and interior color options for the GT1 and GT2 trims aren't entirely available here in the states yet. Give ya one guess what I'm holding out for... ;)
Welcome! Let me guess, let me guess... Snow White Pearl? :p

Here is the Kia World website Stinger page. If you scroll down 3/4 of the way you will see the exterior and interior options available (with a disclaimer that not all are available in certain regions yadda yadda) mobile version / desktop version

I've called four separate Kia dealerships the last month or so, spec'ing different trims and package options. I know that there are only eight panthera metal GT Stingers with 3.3L in the entire country right now... really though, done my due diligence on the research end for this thing. I just can't justify the $48-51k usd price point if all of the color configurations aren't available to me!

Surely someone somewhere knows when the USA will get Deep Chroma Blue or Lake Stone exterior options...someday I hope to own a Lake Stone with Brown nappa leather interior AWD GT2 3.3L !!

Yeah, we're ready for a new vehicle and the Stinger probably would've been in our garage already. However, since Kia displayed a demo car color (Deep Chroma Blue) across the country and then smartly decided to offer all but 2 colors here (Deep Chroma Blue and Lake Stone), we're going to hold our money. I have no idea where the Lake Stone is even sold. Don't know if I've seen a production picture of one.

However, we've seen the Korean spec Deep Chroma Blue in person and feel that the difference is worth holding out for. I'm hoping that since they showed the color that it means that it could appear soon (either as a Special Edition or a 2019). Of course, they could also just be ridiculously incompetent in the marketing area, but I'm going to hold out for a while and see (unless something else happens to appear in the meantime). The one good thing about waiting is it also could give them some time to put in some of the other features that they went out of their way to omit just for the US.

Couldn't agree more. This is all really encouraging in an odd kinda way. 1) I know I'm not alone in this qualm or this quest and 2) you can confirm through first hand account that the Deep Chroma Blue is truly worth waiting for!

I thought the blue was supposedly the most common color????
Maybe you're thinking of the super common Micro Blue and not the highly prized (and thus far never offered in US) Deep Chroma Blue. That exterior color, along with "Lake Stone," are teaser colors for us North Americans! Apologies for the cheap formatting flare with these color highlights...

That seems odd as we have 2 in my little city.

I've called a handful of dealerships all over the country (Florida, Illinois, Oregon, California, New Jersey) looking for a Panthera Metal GT1 AWD 3.3L, and they seem to have a heck of a time locating one! I found one RWD in Alabama, one AWD in Florida, and one AWD in Washington in the GT1 trim.

You can go to cars.com and narrow it down pretty quickly as to who has them. There are something like 6 total in the nation right now, yet a LOT of yellow Stingers just came onshore in the Pacific NW. Interesting...

Hah! How do you know that about the yellow Stingers coming onshore!? You watch the Port of Portland from the Skidmore Bluffs or what!?

In other news, I am currently haggling with several dealerships over a GT1 AWD 3.3L in ballpark $47,000USD out-the-door range, including allllll the taxes and DMG and GSS and licensing and registration that come with it here in California...

Well, here's the link I'm at. 6 yellow GT's to be precise: {{mctrl.meta.metaTitle}}

Seattle area, but some in Portland area also. Here's one right on the show floor: https://www.rentonkia.com/new/Kia/2018-Kia-Stinger-5622543a0a0e0aea0064758be5ce8389.htm

Some appear to be on-boat on their way, which is about a 4-5 week journey (including customs). So a few weeks and they'll be in the dealerships. There ya go. 6 Yellow GT's.

I just saw the yellow one in Coatesville, PA on Monday. Seems like a std yellow color...I was hoping it would be the yellow/orange blend I saw in early pictures/previews. That sounds more like a "sunset" than plain yellow. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a nice bright color, just seems like your basic bright yellow...

This thread's got me second guessing a near term purchase - perhaps I should wait until we hear whether deep chroma blue will come state-side...that's a color worth waiting for. My wife has the lapis blue 04 mazda 6 and that color seems similar where it's blue in some light and purplish in others...DCB seems more purply, but looks nice

Staying true to the intent of this thread - I'm going to offer some dealers $38k before Taxes on an AWD GT with safety package. I think that's reasonable for both parties

$55,500 including winter rims and tires, 3M bra and tint, and tax, for a GT Limited (GT2)
What dealership was that?
I've been quoted right about 55k for a GT2 limited without winter tires/rims tint and 3m

Go South Kia in Edmonton. But keep in mind that that wasn’t the negotiated price, it was the oops we messed up but we want you to be happy price.

Did that include their AB prep package? If it was a mistake or not if they gave you the deal I want the same deal!
