What did you pay for your Kia Stinger?

Whatever deal you guys get I paid 46,000 out of the dealer after taxes, titles, etc etc etc after every single fee for my GT2, I find it still is a bargain, can't understand people saying I got my GT2 and paid $40,000 USD and I didn't get a good deal... Im like hello? You get a car with Korean design and German engineering DNA, moster engine, huge hauling capacity and all the toys inside for 40,000 USD not a bargain? They will charge 40 to 50K for a freacking mommy grocery middle aged woman dream car Camry nowadays!
I'm with you man. I barely even believe these ppl saying they are paying 38-40k out the door on GT2 AWD cars. No one is selling GT2 AWD for 35kish before taxes and tags. If so, its a dealer test car with a few thousand miles on it or used or they got a freakishly high APR.

Also what is the interest rate you guys are getting? 40k and a 6.0+ APR isnt a great deal.

maybe on a lease buyout. I was able to get a 2019 GT2 for 38.5 about a month ago. 42 out the door with NJ taxes and registration. My rate for 5 years was 2.8%. But as I stated earlier I searched over 50 Kia dealers and drove over 2 hours to the deal.

I can see that for a 19. Sounds reasonable. For a 20, that would be a stretch.

Agreed. That’s why I hunted down a 19. Which is what a would recommend to anyone looking now, and don’t be married to a color if the price is right. Look for a 20 when the 21’s come out. btw per motor trend the 2021 in the states is a carry over and doesn’t see any of the changes noted in the media outlets.

Even when the 21s come out, there so few 20s on lots, they won't be discounted much. Its not like dealers have to clean house or something, they can afford to wait it out for a sucker to come along. You can find a deal tho, its just a lot of work.

As far as color, dont say what color you want. Act like you don't care what color until the time comes. If they know they got your color, thats leverage they have on you.

I got the 2020 GT2 AWD out the door for 42k with the lease buyout, and got a loan from Apple for 5 years 2.44%. Kia has a lot of rebates/incentives and the dealers are trying to get rid of them. 520C89CD-7883-462A-9D83-5FDD84BC16E4.webp143880BE-C0F5-4EF7-99F4-C9B23E636A75.webp

Nice! Wheels look good too. I guess I am in the minority in keeping the stock wheels. I think Kia nailed the wheels on the GT2 for OEM.

They did a good job overall on the car, I was surprised when I test drove it.

@trystansantos I find the best advice I found online was, Figure out the price you want (Even if it sounds very low) and call dealers and say: Hello, I am in the market for a Stinger in X colour, and I see you have "X number" of them. The price I'd like to pay is $XXK, Can you achieve that price?

Thank you! I'm going to try that. Do you think 38k USD OTD for a GT1 or a used '19 GT2 is reasonable?

Purchased a new 2019 micro blue gt for $33,872. OTD $36k.

2019 GT2 AWD out the door new for $49k and 0% financing,

This is not easy to compare because of exchange rates, I see lots of AU, UK, US but not much CAN.

From my paperwork, for my 2020 GT Limited, Aurora Black with Red Nappa less than 100km on the clock the total was 52,295 CAD before taxes or 60,126 CAD TX IN

Which is 39,675 USD / 45,617 USD tx in

This includes a set of 19’’ Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 at no charges (1574CAD value before taxes on the contract)

Probably not the best deal but a fine one

Picked up a 2020 GT AWD with the Indigo Special Edition Package earlier this week that had a sticker price of 46,360 paid OTD 39,677.34. Price also included Dealer Add of window tint and Edge guards at a whopping $488. Pretty Much every stinger on their lot was 10k off sticker making it very tempting to go for a GT2.

I had negotiated everything via email and phone on the GT Deep Chroma blue making my trip out there to pick her up my first time seeing them in person. There was a sweet Silver/Red GT2 staged on the lot when I first drove in and I thought to myself that is the one I want, damn they are going to get more money out of me. When we drove over and I saw the Deep Chroma Blue with the sunlight sparkling off of it, depending on the lighting, I saw purple, dark blue, black, then I opened the door and saw the unique Dark brown interior (My C43 and M235i both had red interior so the brown really stood out as something different for me) I was like this Deep Chroma Blue is beautiful. Internet photos do not do either justice. I was able to stick with my original plan and go with the GT and was out of there in a little over an hour. The GT with the indigo pkg brings enough goodies to the table for me, all things being equal between those two colors would have made the choice a whole lot tougher, not sure which one I would have drove off with.

Doesn't seem to be too many 2.0T buyers in this thread...

$39K OTD sounds about right. I've been tracking the prices on the Indigo Edition in my area (Central Florida) and the online prices start at $38K and the inventory hasn't changed much in the past 5 weeks. I'm discovering that these "rare" Special Edition Stingers aren't really that rare. First, they are the most common GT trims out there. Second, dealers have been getting more of them since the first deliveries (I believe) because there are some dealerships in my area with 2 instead of 1. Third, the new 2021 Stinger promotional pictures are using this Deep Blue color, which indicates to me that they will release more like this. It seems like the D-AWD is going to be a standard selling feature going forward. Ultimately, Kia wants to charge more for the Stinger, so they've released these limited edition versions to try to justify a higher price and spur public interest. They want (but don't have) the fame and popularity of Audi or BMW in order to get people to pay $10K - $15K more for this car.

I would say that the price of Stingers will only go up in the future as they add more features/performance. I don't believe Kia has the intention to keep this as an affordable sport sedan option (well, maybe the GT-Line trim).

I got a $1700 "friend of Kia Canada" discount because my buddy's kids go to school with a Kia Canada executive, and he (the exec, not my buddy) referred me... So before tax/freight/etc, and not including any of the other upgrades I went with, my sale price was $49,144CAD - for a 2020 GT Limited in Snow White Pearl, brand new, under 100 km on it.

What the difference between GT and GT2? We only have GTs in Australia. We also have a 330 though with the same engine.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2020 GT demonstrator in white with red, and bimodal exhaust for $60k AUD driveaway (43700 USD). Cheapest Ive seen in Australia.

Probably the best looking Stinger Ive seen, looks brilliant! Apart from the wheels, badges and white reflector inserts, is that all standard?

And what are the wheels by the way?

In US there's the GT-Line with the 4 cylinder, then the GT/GT1/GT2 with the TT V6. If you are interested in specifics, the differences are listed here:
w w w . kiamedia . c o m /us/en/models/stinger/2021/features

I had previously only seen this page for the 2020 Stinger, but there's now a 2021 version. It doesn't seem to include any of the updates reported globally like 10" infotainment, new brake light, or the exhaust with valves. Is this an error, or is the update not coming until 2022? That would also explain this article: w w w . carsdirect . c o m /deals-articles/2021-kia-stinger-already-discounted-by-up-to-7-700
Weird though that all media about the refreshed model call it a 2021 model, but that might be for global/Korean markets.

Has anyone seen 2021 models on US dealer lots/websites?
