What did you pay for your Kia Stinger?

Need some assistance. Dealer isn't willing to go any lower on this Premium AWD in WA. I see tons of people on here getting good deals. This price is on a 12k/36m lease, that I intend on doing the buyout trick after the fact.

Cap Cost seems high. I trust you guys Should I walk? They are transferring it from one end of the state to another since I want the Blue/Black combo.

I’m not sure what a good price is on that vehicle, but a couple things: a 24 month lease should get you a slightly better incentive. And probably the lowest mileage limit if they do less than 12k. Basically you want the “worst” lease deal if you’re going to buyout because that’s where they think they’re making the most money. Second, if they have to ship the car they probably won’t work nearly as hard for the deal. Dealers would much rather move a car off their own lot and not ship it. You might get a better price dealing directly with the dealer across the state. I got an awesome price by just walking in and saying “I want the GT2 you’re most motivated to move.” If you want an in-demand color from a far away dealer they are much less motivated to come to you on the negotiation.

I wanted the 36m lease just in case something goes wrong with the buyout. The difference in rebates is only $900, so not a huge chunk.

Sorry, should have added more context to my statement lol. Generally I see people traveling all the way down to, say, California to get good car deals (not just the Stinger) as there's more inventory/competition. So if you're willing to, it might be worth a shot.

I just bought bought my Stinger GT1 from Huntington Beach, CA Kia (Car Pros) for $35K. It was the pearl white otherwise a stock GT1. Had a dealer added "pulse" brake light system and "mudflaps"(they look stock to me)??? I was able to take advantage of the "comparable vehicle" rebate ($3K) and the $4K Kia Finance rebate, the rest of the discount was from the dealer. I think I got a pretty good deal and seems like dealers are motivated with the new stock of 2020 coming in shortly. Love my car thus far!

For reference I bought a 2019 GT1 a couple weeks back and my adj. cap cost was $38,500(ish). Just received by buyout quote a couple days ago and it was $42,300 (includes tax). So, that seems like a fair deal (probably invoice - dealer holdback).

I see Lee Johnson has a Blue/Black Premium which I'm guessing is where the car is coming from.

George Gee Kia in Spokane. yeah, they are bringing it over from the West side. So the buyout "trick" works in WA, that's good to hear I'm just debating the colors right now. They can also get me a Pantera metal for about $800 less, that doesn't have the stupid puddle lights that I don't want :lol:

Yup it works, despite what the dealership might tell you...everyone at Lee Johnson told me it wasn't possible, even called KMF to "confirm" it wouldn't work. Don't listen if they say it won't work and you'll still have to pay the "rent" on lease. Just focus on the adj. cap cost and the buy out will be that amount + WA tax and the $300 buyout fee. You're golden, good luck with your search. The Panthera Metal is a very cool color in person.

Signed it today. Car will be here tomorrow. Purchase price is $39,750 for a Pantera Metal Premium AWD with cargo net and floor mats. After my $1k deposit and rebates, My adjusted cap cost is $32,715. I am happy with the purchase. Now just gonna wait.

That's better than i got for base gt rear drive of 31,600 + ttl. Straight purchase no trade in. I thought my deal was good but yours is even better. MSRP was 40,600 so 9,000 of . Love the car
