What did you pay for your Kia Stinger?

Break it in by driving relatively easy in sport mode.

Have fun!

Sorry for the double post (I had posted in the 'How to buy' section under 2018 GT2), but this looks like the appropriate thread to post in.....

Just leased a 2018 GT2 AWD on Tuesday
Miles on car = 1,600
24 month

MSRP = 52,425
Dealer Price = 42,651 ($9,774 discount)
Lease Cash = $9,500
Fees = $999 ($650 acq fee and #349 dealer fee)
Price before trade = $34,150 (Dealer Price - Lease Cash + Fees)
Trade value = $13,500 (car max offered $11,500, so $2K higher)
*******Price with $2K higer trade ($32,150)*** this is what I feel I paid for the car
Trade applied to lease = $5,800
Trade payed back as check = $7,700
Adjusted cap cost = $28,350
Residual = $28,309
Payment = $129 a month

Are you buying out the lease? The payment amount seems to indicate that you're only paying money factor/rent + tax?

Correct, my adjusted cap cost is almost = to the residual so nearly $0 going to depreciation. The charges are all rent charge and tax. My plan is to buy out the lease. However, I may drag my feet on that a bit. I quick look shows my credit union used car rate at 3.89% and my lease money factor rate .0022 I believe to be equivalent to 4.4%. Probably not a lot of extra cost per month between refinance and lease rate.

New user here!

Looking to buy a 2019 Stinger GT in black for 33,500 and 36,500 OTD. I haven’t seen too many GT’s listed here lately. I feel like this is a good price, but nervous to bite the bullet. Can someone reassure me this is a good price?

Base GT msrp is $40-41K. You're getting over 19% off the sticker. Assuming no funny business, I would say that's a great price. Buy? Lease? They giving you that 0% for 66 month too?

Financing. They said I could opt for the 0% down or 2500 off, but not both. I thought that was strange.

If that's with the zero percent that's insane. I got mine last saturday for $39.5K OTD with red. Remote start and red bumped up the price $1k though. This was with zero percent 66 month zero down payment. I probably left $1K on the table.

I just bought a 2019 GT in blue for 32,500 and 35,9xx out the door. No one would come close to matching it. I had to drive 3 hours though. Pretty excited to be part of the Stinger family!

Damn nicely done congrats! Guess I should have kept at it longer... insane price.

Just out of curiosity where are you located?

How did you handle taxes? I bought my current car from Nevada, was my first out of state transaction. Inside my surprise when j went to the DMV and owed $3k+

North Florida but drove 3 hours north to Perry, Georgia

Living in Houston, TX.

Got a deal for 2019 Kia GT1 Stinger, two color options (white & blue mica).
MSRP = $46,840
Dealer Price = $36,840 + TT&L which includes $2500 rebate, financing at 4.9%
other option
Dealer Price = $39,340 + TT&L w/o rebate, 66mo at 0%. OTD price of $41862.

Is this a fair deal?

Haven't heard of anyone getting 66mo @0% - I thought 0.9% was the low. The deal seems good.

2nd option should have a lower payment than the 1st and some long term savings despite no rebate (assuming the term is similar).

Just pulled the trigger on a 2019 GT1 in ceramic silver, red interior. It was the owner of the dealership's car and had 2k miles on it. It was discounted quite a bit and I think I got a good deal at $38.5k + taxes.

The fun part is I get to fly to Charlotte and drive the beast home next Friday!

What should a new GT1 run? I have a similar offer with a GT2 5k dealer miles....they have it listed at 45k....I'm thinking 39-40k

I think MSRP is around $46-48k for a GT1. Under 40k for a lightly used GT2 would be a great deal based on my research - that's a $50k car!

So 42-43k used? I have an offer for lease at 11k off msrp (that makes it 43k right? ) gonna make them compete
