Just picked up a closeout deal on a black 2020 GT2 RWD. Remote Start...Puddle Lights
MSRP: $52,390 plus $1700 in dealer add-ons (tinted windows, door sills, paint protection, interior protection, door edge guards)
Discount $10,567
Military Rebate $400
Paid $41,423 plus tax

They still have a white 2020 GT2 RWD w/black interior left for less then $42k if any body looking for one. Jim Ellis Kia in Kennesaw, GA.

US + Canada - please provide prices WITH taxes. For you is is normal to pay "taxes" + price, but in Europe/Asia there is only one price - the one you pay :D
In Poland Stinger 2021 (the only version - 3.3) is ~ 65000$. It includes VAT tax (for imported goodies, 23%) and excise for engines larger than 2 liters (18.6%)... Also, buyer is obliged to pay 2% of "income tax" of the new car :D
... life taste great in EU/PL :D

@Bamm1 gave me a great idea to help inform the community what people have paid for their Stinger. So, here it is! Please tell us what you paid, which package your opted for, and where you're located. :)
In early September we paid $43,000 for our 2020 GT2 with rear wheel drive. Black with red interior. We thought it was a deal we couldn’t pass up.

I showed this to my local dealership to try to get them to offer a similarly sweet deal on a 2020 AWD GT2 and the best they said they could do was matching the 2021 customer cash ($2500) plus like a $3000 dealer discount. They said they couldn't understand how or why Jim Ellis would sell that far below invoice.

I guess I don't understand either. Are they basically just trying to cut their losses, or are there some back end incentives that Kia corporate may be giving dealerships?

As I understand it, most dealers have to finance the cost of their inventory, so the longer a car stays on the lot the more it costs them, which ultimately means the lower the profit they make on the car. Manufacturers help subsidize the interest cost at first through dealer holdback, which is usually a small percentage of the invoice price. But that's a "set" amount; at some point a particular car has been on the lot for so long that the dealer gets desperate to get rid of it. At that point, the dealer is willing to take whatever they can get for it just so they can stop paying interest on it.

How much of the discount is manufacture rebate vs dealer discount?
Are you doing a buy, lease, or lease buyout?

Kia manufacturer discount is $2500 and the remaining is dealer discount. Going to buy, not lease
Kia offers a lease rebate, it’s higher then a regular buy/finance rebate.
also a lot of people does not know, Kia allows to buyout a lease at ANY time.
You should research and read the lease buyout thread and YouTube Kia stinger lease buyout.
also if you can wait, lease rebate are much higher towards the end of the year.
you do need very good to great credit score to get the highest lease rebate in order for this to be worth the extra steps

My deal back in Aug/2020
New 2020 GT RWD
MSRP $42,580
Dealer discount $4,972
Rebate $8,100
$29,508 before tax, tag, and fees
Trade-in my car $2750
after a few weeks bought out the lease
OTD ~$31,500

So, do you lease the car first and then buy it?

Autobytel is reporting an additional $2000 Bonus Cash (at least in my area). See if it’s available in your area. Otherwise look up at this sub-forum and read the Lease buyout thread. Right now, the GT AWD has $5800 lease rebate (24 month lease).

No such lease rebates in my area. And this seems to be the best deal I can get. Is it worth it? I am also looking for a 2019 Charger R/T fully loaded CPO with 7k miles that's about $4000 cheaper

No way I'm buying a Charger over a Stinger, unless maybe it was a Scat pack and I lived in a warm state.
