• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Just a quick little job, the throttle has a sharper response now.

Yes, gives the car a sharper throttle response now, especially in Comfort mode.
Perhaps you drive like my hubby, he likes to " feel the response of a car, motorbike etc" he put throttle spacers on his motorbike handle bars so that small lag is no longer there, the response is more instant. He says it will certainly feel better without the " throttle lag ",
he looked at me and said " you drive in sport mode are a lead foot so you don't feel the lag "....he knows me so well ! :)

Yes, I like to feel the response straight off in cars like this, this little gadget now gives the feel you get in Sport mode but now when your in Comfort.

Hubby sounds like he is just as much of a rev head as you; he shouldn’t be casting nasturtiums at you.:)

It must annoy the shit out of him when he’s driving the truck and being beaten off the line by a Mazda 2.

My Sprint boosters been on order over 2 months , the distributor was waiting to put an overseas order in but has a minimum qty to meet. Then the pandemic struck. Have cut him some slack .

iDrive & $299 delivered with the charcoal grey cover.
I bought one of these for my wife’s Audi A4. I hated the lag on it. f*ck me when I put this thing in it was like a different car altogether. She hated it at first like everything but now loves it and thinks it’s faster then the stinger because it goes so easily.
I’m seriously thinking about buying it for the stinger as I don’t drive in sport mode much(cost of fuel makes me ) but like you said the response in comfort would be much better.

Hey guys,
Didn’t want to start a new thread. Has anyone here got their car lowered? Got quoted for $900 to have springs supplied and installed. That’s $300 cheaper then pedders quoted. That’s not my concern. my concern is how practical it will be once lowered. They sit nice standard but I’d love to see it sitting just that little bit lowered. The common sense in me says don’t because I’ll have nothing but dramas with speed bumps and driveways etc.
anyone got any first hand experience they would like to share?

I’m not lowered, personal choice, but what springs are you being offered.

Yes I’m predominantly in Comfort (default at start up) & this thing gives you the sharpness of Sport while still in Comfort.
