What I did to her was let somebody else drive her. I turned her over to my wife, and got in the back right passenger seat.

Why? Did you figure that was the safest spot? I thought it was the center of the rear seat.

It gave me the clearest view of what she was doing. And if need be, I could become a backseat driver. I did not feel the need to.

I let my wife drive the Stinger whenever she wants to. She's a good driver, can drive a manual just fine, etc.
It was actually at her insistence that I got the car. She said "If you want a low sporty car you better do it now before you can't even get in and drive one"

Best to keep her happy.

Yes, the first time is the only first time.

My first drive (directly from the dealership) was to get my mother at her apartment and take her for a spin up Parley's canyon. Of course I had to show off, a bit, how the Stinger accelerates. This was quite the experience for a 92 year-old lady. Since then, I've taken her for quite a few drives in my car, but spared her any performance demonstrations.

The moment I put tints on I'll get two tickets(one in ny and one in NJ) . Happened to me in the same day before. Good luck to you cause the tints do make it look good.
