No to gloss black. I have a white car as well.
I replaced my fender and hood vents to carbon fibre finish.
I also left the door handles white.
I saw a white Stinger recently that had changed his white roof to black. Couldn't tell if it was painted or just wrapped. Either way, I didn't like it at all.
He also had a black Nike like swoop across the bottom of his doors. Again, a big no for me.
I went with gloss black fender vents, mirror caps, and window trim. I think it looks great. It matches the gloss back on the hood "vents" and the front bumper vents. Carbon fibre looks good when it's real or a very very good fake, unfortunately a lot of the fake stuff looks terrible.

Fortunately, the side vents and hood vents that I got were the real thing and not Chinese knockoffs. They had KIA part numbers on them. They fit perfectly.
